The reporters are approaching city workers at home and away from work. The title in the liberal Orlando Sentinel is misleading.

Read these press releases for real information. Press release 22 explains the Uniform Crime Code listed on the police report is for internal processing only to qualify an incident for stat purposes and tracking types of incidents and that Zimmerman was not formally charged. (They are correcting media reports here.)

The media reported that Investigator Serio filed an affidavit requesting the charges.
If so, then the charges aren’t just part of the UCC reporting on that initial form.

Sanford Police Threaten To Arrest Reporters For Asking Questions
Pathetic, if true... especially given that they haven’t arrested any of the New Black Panther racists for soliciting the kidnapping or death of one of their citizens, a felony in the State of Florida.

The LSM here is worried sick.
They started this, most especially the local ABC station channel 9 here.
The day after channel 9 was "Investigating" and showing witnesses.
I said then we could save a lot of money doing away with our courts and just let channel 9 be the judge & jury.
Now that the truth is slowly coming out, they are worried and should be. There could be lawsuits galore if it comes out Zimmerman is 100% not guilty and we have riots everywhere.

Yes. It is very disappointing what the media have stirred up against Zimmerman. I hope that elderly couple gets a lot of money for their being terrorized by Spike Lee and other rabid lunatics. Many lawsuits will be forthcoming. Morgan and Morgan will definitely be looking for victims.

Thanks Sheik.
Having had no response to the earlier request re 'source', it's possible that ltc is unaware of the following, Sanford Media Advisory #22, release Tue 27 Mar:
SANFORD, FL MARCH 27, 2012 The City of Sanford wishes to clarify a statement made at todays press conference related to the police report on the Trayvon Martin case. A reporter stated that based on the description of the incident on the report, that the officer on scene wished to have Mr. Zimmerman arrested and charged with the Uniform Crime Code listed on the report. That is not accurate.
All police reports from all law enforcement agencies require a Uniform Crime Code to qualify an incident and for statistical purposes for tracking types of incidents. This code does not indicate a formal charge that will be lodged against an alleged offender. It is used for internal processing and to type cases.

As I recall, it took a Tampa station to start divulging the truth and facts. The national and Orlando media couldn't, or wouldn't, report the facts.
As I've posted on many of these threads, the media, the racial instigators and the President, should take a step back and let the investigation and laws work!

Sanford warns they do not condone the actions of the Black Panthers and attempts to take Zimmerman into custody by civilians may result in criminal charges and unnecessary violence. (Rick Scott also issued a statement regarding this last night but I cannot find it. I heard it on the local news.)

"As I recall, it took a Tampa station to start divulging the truth and facts." I think you are right I think it was a Fox station. Don't you know the prosecutor that has been appointed to look into this already knows the truth and is afraid to divulge because they know riots will follow. . . . .
I mean come on how long could it take? There isn't that much to look at. . . . .

So, am I correct in saying that this means that the officer on scene never indicated in any paperwork that he thought Z. should be arrested?
