On Fridays Stephanie Miller show, the host was typically adoring Obamas snarky remarks about how the conservatives are flat-earthers when it comes to the awesome potential for green energy solutions. The forward-thinkers and the scientific minds hand over a half-billion dollars to Solyndra, apparently.
Unfortunately for Miller, her sidekick Jim Ward (who does impressions), completely lost his cool and said Obamas critics should test the alleged laws of gravity by jumping out of a plane without a parachute. Its another Playtex bottle of the milk of human kindness from liberal talk radio.
MILLER: Yeah I think the President got off a good one the other day didnt he when he was talking he said if some of these folks were around when Columbus set sail they must have been founding members of the flat earth society. They wouldnt have believed the world was round Ah just in relation to the whole energy debate, correct?
REP. ADAM SCHIFF: Exactly, they would have been talking about the alleged round earth theory.
JIM WARD: I think they should test the alleged laws of gravity by jumping out of a plane without a parachute.
MILLER: Oh now!
This Obama oration in suburban Largo, Maryland was the one Washington Post fact checker Glenn Kessler whacked for inaccuracy: "In a speech on energy Thursday, the president took aim at the cynics and naysayers who dismiss potential new sources of energy, such as wind and solar. Leave aside the canard about most Europeans believing the earth was flat before Columbus thats an elementary-school tale with little basis in fact."

oh the hate the sick joke, the outrage,
ARF
The double standards of the left is stunning, they can attack women on the right, but play the victim they can use the black community for their votes but treat them like crap and the MSM which is infested with their left wing turds cover for them all the frigging time and then the left states the MSM is not biased with a straight face.
It really is astounding how pathetic the left is and how the average Joe and Jane has become thick and dumb.
Perhaps she should show us how its done.
I’ll jump when your plane can fly on alternative engery of solar or wind.
Long ago she was known as Sister Sleaze on a radio morning show in Rochester NY. She was part of the Brother Wease Morning Circus.
I saw her one time when she was one of the guest hosts who took over for Imus after he was kicked off MSNBC. She was so absolutely awful that words fail.
Someone should have thrown the phrase back at him/or her, dropping out the word “haters”.
The liberals are so cheeky, because no one stands up against them on the spot.
She used to be on KABC here in the evening, during the Monica Mess. Whenever Linda Tripp came up in the conversation, she would play the bellowing elephant sound effect. Real nice lady.
We don’t “dismiss” new sources of energy any more than we dismiss that a tiny fruit tree will eventually provide food. But in the meantime, we need to eat.
Conservatives embrace green energy. We just want energy independence AND free markets.
There is a good argument for the future of solar and wind, but not allowing markets to work will stagnate the progress, not help it.
The childish name calling, straw man arguments, and general lack of civility that screeches from the left gets tiresome.
Believe what you like. She’s a dyke who may have some sexual identity issues but she really prefers women. Too bad; she was quite attractive when younger.
Other than that stupid box you keep putting around your answers, no. It's your money, just like it's their money for Volt owners to spend.
I will do it as long as someone pushes Steph under me right before I hit the ground.
Only if you want to drive your Nissan Leaf more than 75 miles or so.
Congratulations, though, I've wished I could go off-grid, but here in New Hampshire I don't have enough wood on my property to survive the winter.
Just reporting what she said. Obviously I don’t know her as well as you do. So sorry.
And we all looked better when we were younger. That’s life.
