On Fridays Stephanie Miller show, the host was typically adoring Obamas snarky remarks about how the conservatives are flat-earthers when it comes to the awesome potential for green energy solutions. The forward-thinkers and the scientific minds hand over a half-billion dollars to Solyndra, apparently.
Unfortunately for Miller, her sidekick Jim Ward (who does impressions), completely lost his cool and said Obamas critics should test the alleged laws of gravity by jumping out of a plane without a parachute. Its another Playtex bottle of the milk of human kindness from liberal talk radio.
MILLER: Yeah I think the President got off a good one the other day didnt he when he was talking he said if some of these folks were around when Columbus set sail they must have been founding members of the flat earth society. They wouldnt have believed the world was round Ah just in relation to the whole energy debate, correct?
REP. ADAM SCHIFF: Exactly, they would have been talking about the alleged round earth theory.
JIM WARD: I think they should test the alleged laws of gravity by jumping out of a plane without a parachute.
MILLER: Oh now!
This Obama oration in suburban Largo, Maryland was the one Washington Post fact checker Glenn Kessler whacked for inaccuracy: "In a speech on energy Thursday, the president took aim at the cynics and naysayers who dismiss potential new sources of energy, such as wind and solar. Leave aside the canard about most Europeans believing the earth was flat before Columbus thats an elementary-school tale with little basis in fact."

Stephie wasn’t actually a Bush lover 4 years ago.
Another day of open minded tolerance and civility in Obamaland. :)
the pos in chief.
if its a cesna and parked, I have no problem doing this
She so clever and smaaaart. Sounds like all the other smart and clever people in the liberal herd. ;)
How many ways can the little black shirts wish death on their opponents in a democratic republic?
... at night!
You guys totally miss the point, its okay because it was said after 11PM (somewhere), people who don’t like President Obama are public figures, the guy who said it is funny in his own mind and he doesn’t think Rush Limbaugh is funny, and whatever twisted liberal excuse comes next.
Never heard of her.
She is defining albeit what is happening to this country.
After you, sugarbritches.
I’m sure if she were to do so, she would again land on her back with her feet in the air.
I don't dismiss the potential benefits of new sources of energy. I am just skeptical that these new sources can be quickly developed to supply all the energy needs of all the nations. And someone should tell Jim Ward that Obama has a lot of critics, liberal and conservative, Democrat and Republican. So which Democrat or liberal does Jim Ward suggest be the first to jump?
I was looking at the crowd behind Obama when he was pontificating about something. Those people looked brain dead.
Funny, this is exactly what Obama voters did almost 4 years ago. And want to do again.
I listen to the progressive station that carries Stephanie Miller. The entire line up is vary angry people all day long who make up a lot of their own facts and revise history as they go along. They have a weekend show called “Ring of Fire” that I thought was a parody the first time I heard it.
...sounds like she picked this up passing a school yard, what is she 10 years old?
Or, I could listen to her show for a thousand days and die a thousand deaths.
