I was basing that on CNN’s exit polling. One of the only segments that Romney significantly won was ‘Urban Areas’.

There is no frikken way Romney can carry the South. Everyone despises him!
If he carries Ala and Miss...he gamed the system!

I watched Allen West on Cavuto today and was so amazed and totally impressed.I would get my behind out and walk over broken glass to vote for the guy.
I'm proud to have helped elect Allen West as my Representative. He unseated a very liberal incumbent Democrat.
If Allen West was ever on a Presidential ticket, liberal heads would explode continuously until there were none left...

A Newt person here myself, I believe that NEWT is the only true Conservative in the running, both fiscally AND socially.
For tonight. I would not have a single problem of Newt getting both. He needs it more than Santorum. Newt is a fantastic guy fiscally but socially? I would put him behind Santorum on that for sure.

All I could do was wish he was running. We could win this thing against Romney. And, he would make Obama look like the wuss he is.
Thanks for your wise vote regarding West.

There is something fishy about the very idea of a Romney win in Ala and Miss. I agree. It seems the media can't hardly stand it so with just one percent of the vote in they can say Romney is ahead but the race it close. I would like to hear from Freepers in Alabama, Hawaii and Mississippi about their experiences at the polls today. Will ping my lists, and as always please FreepMail me if you wish to be taken off my ping list. Thanks!

When conservatives are split, there is little surprise that MS goes Romney. The Barbours also are in the bag for Romney.

I’m in Hawaii, Big Island, running the voting at the largest district in Hilo. I’ll give a report in about 6 hours.

CNN complaining about how long it’s taking for the votes to roll in.
FOX is probably apoplectic waiting to see Romney’s numbers. I hope they go down down DOWN.

The fact that Romney is even in this race (within 3 points of Santo and Newt) is bad news for our side.
It is too close to call right now. It almost looks like a draw coming up. Razor thin. I have FOX Business on. Good election coverage, very accurate.

If it’s that close you know Romney will squeak by with or without the actual votes. Sad but I really am starting to believe it. MI and OH very suspicious not to mention IA where he got the momentum from a state he didn’t even win.

All I know is that if Gingrich had the decency to accept his defeat, which he doesn’t, this night would have been a BLOWOUT for RICK SANTORUM. I feel certain that if Rick had performed as poorly as Newt has in most states thus far, he’d have dropped out. Newt has said that he’s out to get Romney, but all he’s doing now is aggrandizing himself and “getting Romney” nominated.

No, these are the people who have fallen for the “only Mitt can beat Obama” or “let’s get this overwith” or “Mitt’s the inevitable nominee” whispering campaign.
So they abandon their preferred person to vote for the frontrunner, like sheep. The powers that be know exactly how to manipulate people.
