Kids, it's time to get REAL serious with our prayers for tomorrow's voting. We all know what's at stake here. Obama the socialist, Romney with the socialist-light (cough) agenda.
Our children, grandchildren, WWII vets and their wives...deserve better than what they're getting, or if this whole thing goes south, with what we're ALL going to get!
There is SUCH a darkness hanging over this land. God Himself gave this to us and we've squandered it. I don't know if we've reached the point of no return with Him or not.
All I ask is that we ALL get on our knees and pray for forgiveness. Pray that He will heal our land.
Lord GOD, please heal this land, please forgive us our sins, please let us have ONE MORE CHANCE to stand as men and women of faith and never EVER let this happen again. Father...hear our prayers. In Your Name, Amen

I’m praying for God’s will to be done. I’m also requesting that the Lord perhaps help Gingrich because he is the only one of the candidates at this point who has the guts, the tenacity, and the resistance to pressure from advisers that we need to clean house in DC.
Despite his problems in the past, Newt Gingrich is perhaps the ONLY one I see on the horizon that will address the REAL issues and educate our country on exactly who these people (Obama, Holder, Sebellius, et al...) are. We need someone who isn’t going to play the “nice guy”, and who will tell America EXACTLY what we’re facing, and how we can solve these problems effectively without throwing away the solid foundation this country was built on.
We need to start on a path back to getting and keeping Congress, the Executive Branch, and the Judicial Branch back under the restraints of the Constitution - otherwise these problems will reoccur every time the public is fooled into voting for another Carter or Obama. I think Newt can guide things along a better path - even though I know I will not agree with everything he proposes, or everything he says.
Well, I didn’t mean to craft a stump speech, but that’s what I’m praying for — or, perhaps better stated; I’m praying earnestly that my hopes for our country fit with God’s plans for us. :)
God bless our country and everyone fighting to protect and restore our country, and freedom in our world.

...My granddaughter is now 7 & her Grammie thinks she is one of the brightest students in the class!...She's all caught up in size--(no one would ever guess at her 2-1/2 lb birth!).....and the love of my life!

I started reading this thread when you first put it up this morning. I’m adding my prayer to the ones stated here; and while reading them, along with the Bible verses quoted, I can nod in agreement and be encouraged at the same time even knowing there will be difficult times ahead. So I’ll say Amen, and God Bless America.
