I will have one shooter of Jose' Cuervo Gold!
I've been watching Faux coverage, Hume has me too mad to drink, think I'll go into my workshop, put on the light gloves and hit the heavy bag for a while, more therapeutic than Smirnoff right now :^)
that would be Sarah’s vote ;-)
I can't watch Fox anymore tonight. They're now saying Newt is just in this for a book tour.
Now Fox has Romney stooge talking about how great Romneycare is. Hearing pendejos like this guy make me less inclined to support Romney in November if he gets the nomination.
That’s what they said about Cain. Word of advice to candidates.... don’t release any books. The media will think you just want sales.
I know, I just hope it all works out. By the time the primary usually gets to me it’s all over anyway.
Cindie
Not as embarrassing as losing a senatorial seat by 18 points in a state that knows you best.
Cindie
Alaska 68% in
Romney 2,698 33%
Santorum 2,418 30%
Paul 1,691 21%
Newt 1,263 15%
SO, now that’s MI/WA/AZ/OH/MA(15% threshold) and now AK where Newt has played spoiler and helped Romney gain delegates by cutting Santorum’s lead.
So all the talk about the “rebellion” was BS, right? It has been clear since Feb 8 that Santorum was the strongest Anti-Romney remaining to take down Romney. Now both Santo and Newt are screwed. Romney will continue to win proportional delegates in the remaining states and even if he is 100 or so short by convention time, the Superdelegates will put him over the top just like they did for Obama in 2008 citing the popular vote and multiple state victories.
I’m assuming I’m much younger than most of the other posters here. So to all you hardcore Newt supporters who have been bashing Santorum and couldn’t figure out simple mathematics strategy, I’m sure you’ll get your Government-issued “pain pill” long before I get mine, and I hope you all choke on it.
We had Romney beat, but protecting your pride was more important. Now we’re all screwed.
Santorum could still win ALASKA. Only 200 votes separation with 68% of vote in. Still, having those Newt votes would have been good to deny Romney Alaska and his narrative that he can win anywhere....what the heck.
Intrade prices on brokered convention.

a “brokered convention” will be perceived as perhaps the dumbest non-story in political history.
***If you’re convinced about that, you can put money down on intrade, and if you happen to be right, you make money.

Alaska 85% in
Romney Projected Winner
Romney 4,167 33%
Santorum 3,704 30%
Paul 3,033 24%
Gingrich 1,798 14%
And yet Another state where the Anti-Romney vote got split allowing Romney to win.
A brokered convention is not likely.
If Romney gets to the convention with around 1,000 delegates, whatever undecided Superdelegates and some committed unpledged Superdelegates will jump ship and give him the margin he needs to take the nomination. If that isn’t enough, he’ll make a deal with Rand Paul.
Either way ends up with a Romney nomination. We had a chance to stop him and failed.
We feel differently. Yes, I do know JimRob supports Gingrich. But I also know he really doesn’t want Romney. He’d rather have Santorum than Romney.
Ironic. Sarah wanted Newt but didn’t dare endorse, and he came in 4th in her state. Don’t understand that thought.
There is still time to stop mitt. But it means throwing all conservative support to ONE CANDIDATE. FR is a big conservative website. JimRob can have some influence if he wants. But I do think Santorum as evidenced by polls and votes is the closest to beating Romney.
If Gingrich dropped out, we could stop Romney.
Since he won’t, which shows you his devotion to his country, the only way to stop Romney would be for a grassroots public urging for all Gingrich supporters to come to Papa and vote Santorum.
Since they won’t, we will get Romney.
LLS
LOL!!!!!!!
Who at the R party allowed this to happen? Republicans in California and New Jersey could end up deciding this because those states are winner take all, so that a 40 percent vote, for example, can take all the delegates; however, the states that are the republican tend to be proportional.
