A flower company is the seventh advertiser to pull its ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program in reaction to his derogatory comments about a law student who testified about birth control policy.
ProFlowers said Sunday on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program...

So the pissing on Rush continues after the apology. Anyone surprised?

We need to get a list of these scum so we can boycott them.

They shoot themselves in the foot, Rush has the most listened to radio show in the nation - these advertisers just lost a huge market.
To: SoFloFreeper
Nope. This is the latest MSM moral outrage. Forget gas is heading to 5 bucks, Obmama’s power grabs...etc, this is an outrage!!! ;/
To: SoFloFreeper
Today’s show could be like the super bowl of talk radio. Some will be tuning in for the advertisements. This seems like an opportunity for some small upstart company to get some exposure.

The only thing that surprises me is that Rush ever thought an apology would change anything.
Now he has the worst of both worlds. Looking like a sap for backing down and apologizing along with losing advertisers. He was way better off before he threw in the towel and apologized for stating a fact. JMHO

We need to get a list of these scum so we can boycott them. Great idea! In the meantime, we can give each of them a thumbs down on Facebook and post a boycott comment. Anyone have the list?

What gets me is that the segment of the population that these advertisers are pandering to will most likely not, or have not done business with them anyways.
I really can’t see some fanatic liberal buying flowers for anyone.

ProFlowers? Are those the ones Sean Hannity talks about?

I just canceled an order with ProFlowers and left a very nasty letter explaining why I canceled. They’ll never get my business again.

This is kind of like cutting off your nose to spite your face! Any company who pulls their ads has to know their income will drop. They’ll be back after they’re done pandering to the complainers.

Rush put most, if not all, of the companies that are storming out on him now (without even waiting for Rush to explain himself) into their current advantageous business positions. They have to know that walking out is very, very Pyrrhic. Now that they have, will they get the Slut business that they had missed in the past? (Ha)

Competing businesses in the same lines are probably busy right now writing advertising proposals to Rush.

Chicago politics...strong arm and threaten American companies to tow the line and do what they say OR ELSE....you WILL have tax problems, you will spend millions defending your employment policies, your local tax code, your personal tax form, your place of employment, building codes, fire regulations,HEALTH ISSUES.....it's what they do, it's why they have to be defeated!
