The ongoing debate over birth control took a particularly nasty turn recently when conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh called Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a slut and prostitute for speaking out about the issue.
Fluke, a birth control activist, spoke with TODAYs Matt Lauer about Limbaughs comments and the failure of a GOP-sponsored amendment that would have allowed employers at religious institutions to opt out of providing contraception in health plans.

I will be stunned and outraged if Saturday Night Live doesn’t have a skit on this, this weekend!
I’ll probably be sleeping when it comes on, but I’ll STILL be STUNNED AND OUTRAGED!
Things are carrying on about as politely as you can expect given her big lie.
Bimbo “” eruptions “”.......www.double-widereceiver.com
LOL
Can always check You Tube for it, later.
The mental image of that is priceless!! Excuse me congressman, I need to take a short break in my testimony.
What is your source for these statements? At Post 88 there is a link to a transcript of her prepared statement. If you read it carefully, NO WHERE does she say that she PERSONALLY uses birth control or has sex. If I missed something in my three readings, please point it out to me.
Was there subsequent testimony not included in her prepared statement where she self-describes herself as a "slut" or states she has an excessive sex drive? If so, I'd appreciate a link, so I can read up on it.
Now I don't think much of her logic skills ... she chose to attend a Jesuit University and the Catholic Church's teaching is not merely against birth control, it is against extra-marital sex. She wants to claim victim status because " ... we refuse to pick between a quality education and our health." So there is no other quality law school besides Georgetown? And Georgetown doesn't endanger your health - you endanger your health by having extra-marital sex. Georgetown simply refuses to be an enabler for this destructive behavior.
The only part of her testimony that has any resonance with me is regarding women who need to be treated with contraceptives for ovarian disease. The Catholic Church has made clear that such a use of these drugs is permissable within the Church's teachings, and insurance companies should be paying for medications to actually treat a disease.
But pregnancy is NOT a disease ...
I’m wondering if she realizes what she did. (besides all the ruttin around)
She went before Congress.
She took an oath.
Perjury can cost alot more than a couple Trojans!!
wiki - In 2010, the “Plan A: Hoyas for Reproductive Justice” campaign led several protests against the school policy against the sale of birth control on campus,[152] and in 2007, Georgetown University Law Center students protested the University’s decision to cease funding for a student’s internship at Planned Parenthood’s litigation department despite funding it previous years.[153] Chains Effective for Georgetown Protesters
Students angry over having to leave campus to purchase birth control Monday, Mar 29, 2010 - The students are part of a group called Plan A: Hoyas for Reproductive Justice. They are upset having to leave campus to purchase condoms and other birth control. The students and staff also want the schools health plan to cover birth control and other reproductive choices.
Other student protesters shouted their message through megaphones stating, “We are unofficial because Georgetown refuses to take care of the sexual health of its students.” Some students held banners. One read, My body, my campus.
Around 8:00 p.m., a university official sent letters stating they would hold a meeting with the protestors on Tuesday.
Two months ago, Plan A sent a letter to Georgetown University administrators asking for a meeting so they could address their complaints.
Since the group did not get the response they wanted, they decided to hold a public protest.
While their fight is far from over, Plan A members are thrilled at the progress of their push.
It showed we are ready to stop at nothing to get justice, said student Julia Shindel.
A Jesuit priest founded Georgetown University in 1789. School officials describe it as rooted in the Catholic faith while being invigorated by religious and cultural pluralism.

That's true. How does she expect to be taken seriously after this?
Unfortunately, she may have a future like Monica Lewinsky's. Which is not much, sadly.
This is a ready-made sketch for them, I don’t see how they could pass this up!
You’ve got Rush, O’Bozo, Pelousy, and the Ho... Just for starters!
It’s practically already written itself!
I haven't caught all of this woman's testimony but she is a symbol of what we face as a country...”you're all responsible for me.” We have too many stupid liberal activists and they're winning. The more welfare and handouts you create, the harder it's going to be for the people who will have to take them away someday.
My tagline sums it up best.
Actually got me to wondering (as great as it is to revisit many old jokes and pick up some new ones.)
It is Friday after all, where inconvenient facts get quietly released and buried quickly.
There might be a real stinker coming out in the evening dump again. They have done this before, several times - set the agenda for the weekend topics.
And maybe a cameo by a very bemused Newt Gingrich.
He probably called her to ask if she knew any cute guys he could hook up with.
“PERSONAL call from Obongo”
The Toon is no longer the country’s screwer-in-Chief. 0bama has claimed the title and is screwing everyone and everything.
She knows the difference between kicking a jimmie and getting a kick out a jimmie.
I’m sure her johns call her worse things.
Well this time she miscalculated. All manner of tongues are yacking about this one, if the normally rather staid FR is an indication.
To reverse the singer in that 80’s commercial, she’s not looking for a hand (up), but a handout.
Break out the world’s smallest violin.
If they can’t afford to get birth control outside of campus then they have no business engaging in actions that could result in a child.
