Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.
Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:
I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.
Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

Thank you Andrew for not being afraid to express the anger I have always fealt towards the whack radical left. I was tired of the radicals always having the last word. You told them to go to hell and I agreed completely. Conservatives need to get tough with these bastards and you did exactly that! It’s a dog fight that must be won! Gods speed Andrew...
There either won’t be an autopsy or it won’t find anything or it will find more drugs than Amy Winehouse that won’t be explained. Nothing will be settled.

They won’t check for anything. They didn’t even do an autopsy on Kuwaata. All the recent news re money laundering by big banks... Fast & Furious, etc. There is something big on the ONE. Mancow said Andrew has something big on Obama. The timing of FF & banks made me wonder if we weren’t laundering the drug money while suppying the cartels the guns at the same time. All with the intent of taking away 2nd amendment rights.

We are all stunned and saddened by the news of Andrew Breitbart’s passing. Andrew was a warrior who stood on the side of what was right. He defended what was right. He defended the defenseless.
It is so sad to consider his four young children who have lost their dad. All our prayers are with his family now. May God comfort his wife and children.
Many of us will have life-long memories of our work or encounters with Andrew. May we draw on those to help forward the cause of fighting for what is right. For me, just one of those memories was in Pella, Iowa, last year after the premier of “The Undefeated.” Andrew held court in the restaurant at the local hotel talking about his favorite topic: how “culture is upstream of politics” and how conservatives must be unafraid to fight the leftwing media, cultural, and political establishments. The loss of his voice in this fight will be deeply felt, but thankfully his work lives on at his “Bigs,” and thank God for his inspiration and leadership.
God bless you, Andrew. Rest in peace, friend. We will continue the fight.

So shocked and saddened by this.What a courageous man! Praying for his family and for our country. Praying there are those with courage to carry on what he was going to expose.
Why would you assume that, when you've already said:

...and another says he collapsed after leaving a restaurant.

I expect Sarah is even more relieved now that she decided to sit this one out.
Interesting segment on O’Reilly....
Along about 2 this am...

And autopsy is performed already? Is there a toxicology report, too? It’s 8:17 am in LA, and the death was announced at 9 am EST. 6 hours? Who’s the coroner there? Where are the interviews with those who were there? The person who called it in is? The 911 call?
Does anyone know if this is legit info?
We must use his life as an inspiration to fight even harder against the evil in the world, and his death as a reminder that life is short and we must seize the day!
He and his family are in my prayers today.
