Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.
Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:
I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, andfamouslyI enjoy making enemies.
Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. Ive lost friends, perhaps dozens. But Ive gained hundreds, thousandswho knows?of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

He is on local radio Tuesday in Indy. He gave a very detailed and entertaining account of the dinner with Bill and Bernadine.
It was informative and odd.
I believe I also read anacoounting on his website.
Andrew died of either a heart attack, stroke, or poisoning or who knows what else it could have been but it isn't natural at 42.
-——Ive known 2 people who have died from heart attacks between 40 and 50. Usually an inherited condition. Tragic.-——
A friend of mine had a heart attack at 47. No congenital condition. He was as fit as possible for his age. Thankfully, he survived.
We have lost one of our greatest conservative advocates. RIP, Andrew Breitbart.
I’m afraid that my first thoughts were conspitorial in nature. :(
When I lived in TX, my 37 year old neighbor dropped dead on his front lawn a week after he’d had a complete executive physical exam which he’d passed with flying colors.
One voice has fallen silent but a chorus will arise in his spirit.
Oh my goodness! I’m stunned by this news. RIP, Mr. Breitbart.
Those of us who knew him really well all knew that day was coming, though. I'd imagine people who were really close to Breitbart weren't as shocked as the rest of us are now.
I wonder if there is an investigation into his death would they place police tape around his office (courteosy of the justice dept) for a period of time until, say next November when it will be determined that there was no foul play. But until then...nothing leaves his office. I don’t know.
He has 4 children
Breitbart was adept at uncovering corruption on the left. What kind of person would celebrate his death?
There is such a thing as good and evil and I will celebrate when evil is diminished and grieve when it is strengthened.
Thanks. Nice to see reasonable reactions, from sometimes unreasonable folks.
RIP Andrew. A true conservative fighter for truth. You will be missed and have left a big hole in the conservative media seeking truth from government and Hollywood. Prayers for your family.
“many ways to induce one chemically”
That’s what I’m thinking but more along the lines of self-induced. The medical examiner’s report will get to the bottom of it.
Oh, this is a shock. Prayers for his family.

I can’t believe this!
