LIVE DEBATE THREAD (Is it too early to start?)
Could we give time to all the candidates?
********
With CNN and King nothing will be fair. They are all about Santorum and Romney. Stevie Wonder would have seen this coming.
“I would love to have a look at the buses in the parking lot there. How many with Utah plates? Team Mittens”
Mesa is the Morman capital of Arizona, no need to bus anyone.
Santorum looks woefully inept compared to ME!
[ Yeah its pretty obvious the crowd is spiked again.... ]
Definitely.
Newt is by far the best candidate.
Pravious, re: Newt being on fire, I am sensing he is physically a bit low for some reason. Seems tired, or like he has a headache. His delivery is a bit tepid compared to usual, but he makes good points. Hope he is OK health-wise. Or maybe Calista has been keeping him up late.
Love that Newt mentioned the screwed bond holders.
WOW.. now an anti Arpaio commercial. ( at least here in Phoenix)
In that last exchange all four agreed, no? Santo was the only one whose answer totally lacked substance. As always.
BINGO!
I’m 35 yrs old. Reagan is the first President I can remember. I’m not ashamed to say I bawled like a baby during his funeral. Watching Romney and Santorum rip each other to shreds and Paul cackle insanely makes me feel good for Newt, but then again people were stupid enough to vote Obama in office.
Next up
Faith
Mitt Romney, Dec, 2007, speaking at the George Bush Presidential Library: I believe in my Mormon faith and I endeavor to live by it. My faith is the faith of my fathers I will be true to them and to my beliefs.
King trying to (1) prop up Romney, (2) attack Santorum, and (3) ignore Gingrich and Paul. Unsurprising.
This reminds me of one of Mittney’s recent post-election speeches where his bizarrely obsessed audience cheered loudly after EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE he said. His crowd are mindless cheerleaders who I don’t think comprehend much of what he or any of the candidates say at all. They seem very much like people at a sports rally who are for their team, right or wrong, good or bad. What the actual reason they support this guy in the first place, one can only guess. But certainly religious identification from Mormons would fit the bill.
Even Pappa Paul is leaving Santorum in the dust! And Santorum is starting to realize that he is having his ass handed to him, so now he is trying to domingate the time by blabbering on about mostly nonsense.
We are about to see something even bigger out of Newt, you can BET on it!
Yes, they said on Twitter, Romney got more tickets.
Newt is way above the others. imo.

Commercial Break : HOLD ON, FREEPERS!
This thread is getting So High School....”smug looks”, “stuttering”, etc.
These are OUR GUYS, people, and ONE of them is going to have to clean O’bummer’s clock...
I wonder what the audience reaction (bussed in Mittbots by the busload) will say when and if Newt comes out with this “compassionate conservatism” pro-amnesty John McCain type cr*p he was spouting in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida. In a state like Arizona, which is under intense attack by Mexico including thousands of deaths of Americans on our soil, this next segment shall be most interesting. I expect Mitt to pander and equivocate; course were he to win the nomination he, too, would revert to his previous “pro-Amnesty” position on illegal alien invasion.
Birth control question gets BooED

For John King, Faith = Birth Control
