There is no reason other than Government why we are paying such high prices on energy.

At every turn over the past three years one rule of thumb can be applied. If it is good for America, this administration (and by extension the Democrat party) is against it. If it can hurt America, this administration is for it.

Just electing a Republican Senate and a Republican President will probably in of itself cause a dramatic decrease in a gallon of gas perhaps as much as a dollar. I few oil drilling and pipe projects and a strengthening of the $USD could easily cause another dollar drop. $2.00 / gal is very reasonable.
