OK, I'm sure we all have friends or family members that we disagree with who call themselves "pro-choice."
These people will often feel ambigious about when life starts and don't feel it's right to make legal legislation about this. These are not the people I'm talking about.
I'm talking about those that for whatever REALLY REALLY REALLY love abortion. The ones that strongly support funding of abortion left and right, and those who seem obsessed with making it more and more available and considered. Like Obama working to get it into Kenya. Come on, it can't be about "women's rights?" In a third world, high Muslim population nation?
Is there anyone here that used to be pro-abortion? (not just "pro-choice". If so, could you offer some insight on their mentality?

I think you are right. That said, why do you have the likes of Pelosi, the Kennedy’s, pick a liberal politician, who claims to be a “practicing Catholic,” and tell me why they still make that claim? And the corollary, why does the Catholic Church permit these people to remain members in good standing? Inquiring minds want to know. Have churches devolved into religious banks? Do you now get to decide which of the churches teachings you will abide? While we are going about cleaning up the country, we might want to do some housecleaning in our churches.
Since 40% of the abortions are for blacks even though they are only 12% of the population, it must be a racist thing. They are trying to keep down the black population.
These elite, young sluts lived their youth "knowing" there were dozens if not hundreds (thousands?) of young men that would've bedded them in an instant and they would've loved to reciprocate and notch their own bedposts, but for the fear of "being punished with a baby."
They grew tremendously toward resenting being differentially burdened, just because they were female. Even if their resentment wasn't for themselves, they also could identify with their sistahs, or want their daughters vicariously to have what they couldn't--or at least keep that "avenue" open.
Abortion for them has been a great equalizer, but only when it's completely free, to boot!
Thus did their hearts become hardened, through their temptations.

biology “discriminates” against women because they can’t, like men, have consequence free sex — pregnancy being the “consequence”. this is their way of using the federal government to correct the “injustice” committed by biology.
I think it’s literally that bizarre.
At the root of it, I think most radical, pro-abortion “feminists” (ironically) hate being women. They feel that they were unfairly dealt the wrong cards.
There is nothing but hate and anger that propels many of them on a daily basis, and supporting abortion allows them to “play God”- the ultimate middle finger at Nature.
They believe that, without it, women are not equal. The pendulum has swung too far and it is going to hit them in the head on the way back.
An estimated 43% of all women will have at least 1 abortion by the time they are 45 years old. These people and spouses have to justify the act. Without justification they are murderers. So they go out of their way to assuage their guilt.
I’m thinking it’s got to have more than sexual freedom without consequenses. I mean, look at all the older women or sexless lesbians that also love it.
I believe some leader from NOW once said “if men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.” This comment sort of lets you see a little into their true feelings about abortion.
Easy. Divide and conquor. Spies/espionage/corrupt from within.
Pit the power of politics against the teachings of the church. . After all, a HIGHLY respected person like Teddy or Nancy would never lie. They have too much to loose! (Yea right)
And consider that Nancy is telling the Bishops/cardinals behind the scenes (You will go along with this, you will play the game or you get your tax status changed.
Don’t doubt that some version of that occurs daily on an issue by issue basis.
That’s part of it to be sure.
People who based their governing ideal, identity and ambition on coveting their neighbor's good, end up with a lot of innocent blood on their hands.
Maybe God knew what He what he was doing when He banned coveting in the ten commandments. It is a deadly sin that leads it's minions to rationalize and commit genocide.

For better information, you may want to talk to a priest who is active in the pro life movement. They will have extensive experience with women who have had abortions.

It’s what a liberal craves most - ultimate control over someone else’s life.
Men who don’t want to have to marry someone because he got her pregnant. Women who collaborate with the men who thus use them.
I’m betting it’s the same answer you’ll get out of libertarians (the other liberals) where they will tell you that they believe it’s an individual right for each to make and it’s not something they believe others should have a say in. They might surrender a bit and say it should be up to the individual states if it will be legal or not.
Many liberals are basically selfish, immature people. They tend to see anything that involves an obligation to others over self as an unconscionable burden.
They resent the pressure because they can’t or refuse to see beyond their own nose. People who don’t want or feel that they need to be held accountable for their own actions usually see life that way.
They are slaves to the spirit of this world. That spirit demands blood and rewards slaves with power. RATs are modern servants of Molech no matter how enlightened they may feel they are. Killing babies has no sane or moral excuse.
