As Rick Santorum counted up his victories Tuesday night, a senior adviser to Mitt Romney signaled the campaign would take a tougher approach toward his resurgent rival and portray him as a Washington insider.

Better Santorum than ROMNEY!
This is the only thing Flip can do. He has no positives to run on. He gets some some term gain with this method but his overall appearance and likeability takes a beating in the process. He continues to fall with his numbers across the board continuing to drop even from the unsuccessful 2008 campaign levels.
He’s a slow motion train wreck but no one wants to admit as much. How long until they once again dust off the draft Jeb Bush movement rumors?
The Romney slime machine is warming up fast today in order to try and take down Santorum now that he’s become a clear threat after last night’s massacre.
