I have been keeping my own record of the 2012 GOP Primary results, adding each primary as it occurs.
I have created an html/internet version which I have posted here on FR a few times. I have been asked by a number of FR members to post a thread where I can update this file regularly, so this is that thread.
Last night we saw what could be a bell weather for this primary election. Rick Santorum, agruably the most conservative candidate left in the field, had a clean sweep, winning the popular vote in Colorado, Missouri, and Minnesota...and doing so convincingly. He certainly will, and deserves to make the case that with five out of eight popular vote wins, he could be considered the Romney alternative. Here's the table as it sits today. I have it going out through the Primary in Texas, but will extend it as necessary. I will update it on this thread when the final totals are in for yesterday's (Feb 7, 2012) races as they are 99% and 95% complete now, when the delegates are apportioned (later for each of the last three states), and when other primaries occur.

I agree wholeheartedly with you, Jeff. We have to build to the top. And for now, do what we can to get rid of the current president.
The country will continue to sway, but hopefully not topple before we can shore up its foundation.
Wes (class of 98)
Well, I hope we cam nake a reality out of that here in November. In fact my prayer wouldbe, if God is merciful and we wrok hard, that 2012 is repeated again this year to the absolute astonishment of these leftists/marxists and that they are run out of town on a rail with as big a landslide as we can muster.
here’s to the class of ‘98! Hoo Rah!
noumenon - 1/16/1998
LS - 2/4/1998
betty boop - 3/9/1998
alamo-girl - 3/14/1998
xzins - 3/26/1998
jeffhead - 7/26/1998
joanie-f - 11/13/1998
Making Noumenon the old man in this group. (Hehehe, sorry, Ward), and making all of us from the class of '98.
It was a very good year.
In the words of Andrew Jackson then...
"LET'S ROUTE THE VIPERS OUT!"
Do you want Eric Holder to be your commisar?
Want Michelle Obama in there with the DAR?
Just sayin’
Old oldie here is voting for Romney with great enthusiasm because I view daily our country being destroyed by Obama.
Truly, Obama must be voted out of office - he could do way too much damage in four more years.
Amen to every bit of that you class of 1997 old timer! LOL
If Romney wins the GOP nomination, why I will vote for him

Here's a quote that could have come straight from Obama's teleprompter...but notice who actually said it:
"We are socialists, we are enemies of todays capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are determined to destroy this system under all conditions. - Adolph Hitler, 1927 (Sound familiar?)
Thanks, Jeff.
Only three people here like me now. :) it’s nice to have one more friend.
Not to mention such excellent company!
Dear Jeff, I so agree with you here: "we each have our freedom of conscience and we must choose the path each of us think is best."
And I believe the rest is up to God.
May He continue to bless the United Sates of America!
As it is your privilege to do, dearest sister in Christ!
On further reflection, the "religious test" issue was originally intended by We the People of the United States of America, who ordained and established the Constitution for "the benefit of ourselves and our posterity," to operate as a constraint on the government, not on the People.
Obama can say all day long that he is a (Reverend Wright-style) "Christian"; but I feel sure he is not even that. I'm not sure he is a Muslim, though he was fathered by one (if what Obama himself tells us is true), and as a child was educated in Indonesian Muslim madrassas.
I just think he is an atheist, pure and simple. He is his own "god."
I just can't wait to see whether (or not) the Obama campaign raises the issue of Romney's father's birth in a polygamous Mormon colony in Mexico. (Notwithstanding that George Romney was not himself a polygamist.) He would be very bold to try this, given that his own father, a Kenyan Muslim, was polygamous, having had four wives. I'm not even sure that Obama's mother Stanley Ann Dunham was one of them. All her public records (including marital records) are sealed.
Oddly, all public records WRT Dunham's parents are sealed as well. You just can't find out anything about these people....
In short, Obama may very well be a bastard.
So, is this news???
Thank you so very much, dearest sister in Christ, for your outstanding observations!
Outstanding, dear sister in Christ!
The utter lack of correspondence between this man's statements and his actions makes your head spin. It gives you a bad case of vertigo....
Obama uses the techniques of a black magician: He falsifies reality every time he opens his mouth.
I just can't stand having to live under the system of UNTRUTH that he spends all of his energies propagating, every time he opens his mouth.
So yes, I DO believe this election is absolutely about "choosing the lesser of two evils," no matter how you slice it.
At the end of the day, I believe the Republic can survive a Romney. But it CANNOT survive an Obama.
JMHO FWIW
Thank you ever so much, dear joanie, for your splendid essay/post!
In any case it is obvious that he is destroying this republic and he is doing it with a will...on purpose, as a part of his plan to "fundamentally change" America.Who I believe Barrack Obama Really Is
Obama's mother was a wild, flower child raised of fairly lenient and liberal parents, who went out into the world, even to poor foreign countries at an early age and was pretty free in her "loving".
I believe she got pregnant by Obama's Kenyan father and that Obama was actually born in Kenya. I believe that the grandparents, concerned for the welfare of their daughter and now their new grandson, got her to bring him back where they used whatever influence they could to get his birth to show having occurred in Hawaii for the sake of their grandchild...which sentiment I could easily understand.
No conspiracy (at least at that point and for many many years to come) to make him President or something great, just to get him in the best position he could be in to face life and have a fighting chance because of that blessed citizenship.
Then his mother took up with and married Soweto and off to Indonesia they went, where Obama was clearly raised as a Muslim. His own words, the records, etc. all indicate this is so and it influenced his life because he remained in it until he was 10-11 years old, old enough for it to have influenced his early development significantly.
Then his Mom left Soweto and brought him back to the states...and ultimately abandonned him to be raised by his grandparents who did so.
With no father, and no mother, and grandparents trying to raise him, he was a confused young man. He took up with increasingly militant anti-Americans like Frank Davis, who influenced him furhter and further away from the citizenship his grandparents (I believe) purchased for him.
Ultimately his grandparents were able to get him into Occidental College, where he attended and met a Muslim young man whom he befriended or vice-versa. I do not believe it was a hard thing at all for him to do.
He traveled with this individual to Pakistan when it was not an easy thing to do. Apparently this individual's father wass fairly well placed and I believe he became a mentor for the young Obama because when he came back it was not long before he was able to begin attending Ivy League schools. From there we know the rest.
Columbia, on to Harvard. 1st black editor of the Harvard Law Review at 28 years old (although he was not truly black, only one half).
Law degree. Working for ACORN, later representing ACORN. To Chicago and his associations with Wright (and Wright's church), Rezkow and the Ayers. Election to the Illinois legislature. Quick rise to the US Senate and then immediatley to the Presidency.
I believe the man is an abject Marxist. I believe he is backed and financed by very rich liberal/progressive concrns, both political and financial (like Soros). I believe he is very sympathetic to, partial to, and in his heart allied with fundamental Isllam. I believe his Christian religion is an absolute marxistic construct molded after the Latin American Liberation Theoloogies which were specifically created to get peasants who would not leave the Catholic church to forment marxist revolutions hiding behind a very liberal, marxist religion...which is exaclty what is happening with Black Liberation Theology in this country.
I do not believe he is a legal American citizen.
But again, all of these are just my own opinions.
And this is the guy we're going to reelect, by our default?
Does anybody have a sense of proportion anymore?
I agree! I will be voting for Romney with great enthusiasm as well and for the same reason.
Thank you Jeff.
Jeff, Thanks for all your great work.
I fully expect the Democrats and MSM are well prepared to attack Romney's roots and beliefs. And they'll not give a second thought to the double standard - that Obama's beliefs and roots are off-limits.
Indeed, I expect Romney's beliefs to be a recurring theme for Saturday Night Live and Letterman. Sadly, a lot of youngers believe that Jon Stewart is a journalist.
National politics is a blood sport.
Thank you both so very much for your insights!
