Last night's Dorito's ad was apparently meant to be "funny". A dog seems to be responsible for a missing cat's disappearance and he bribes a guy with Doritos to keep silent.
If we find this offensive, are we too sensitive? Is it wrong to request Doritos to kill this ad? They suggest the dog killed and buried the cat , or even worse. My best friend's cat was killed by a dog a few year's ago.
Judging by all the comments on the relevant threads, the same thing could be said about this website..............
this has become the Disunited SITE of the Perpetually Offended.
The people who were offended by this need to get a life. Where where these people when Wiley Coyote was being run over, blow up, having an anvils dropped on his head, and being crushed by 10 Ton rock.
Awesome idea. You ought to send them a note. Have the cat return like a zombie with dirt on its fur tormenting the dog and the man.
Actually, all we saw was the dog burying the cat’s collar. For all we know, the cat may have decided to upgrade to a better position elsewhere and the dog was merely covering for him.
Now, if you want the greatest Computer-generated Super Bowl commercial involving cats of all time, click on the link.
Do be a SMGFan
Don’t be a smeg head.
I was just reading and watching a post from MEMRITV, which talked about the killing of apostates by cutting off their heads and i am supposed to be up in arms about a cute cat and dog ad?? Yes “get a life” is a good expression in this case, it fits.
</gratuitous fire fueling>
OFFENSIVE.
OFFENSIVE.
OFFENSIVE.
too sensitive...
It's likely. It's also likely that you are completely crackers, in addition to being boring and prissy.
You’re quite right! The Ads were unimaginative, really lackluster and uninspiring. I suppose people, simply, aren’t accustomed to expect anything better. I reckon that’s why we’ve got the government we have.
It’s just a stupid commercial as were all of the Super Bowl commercials this time. Anyone who watched the Super Bowl “just for the commercials” sure wasted their time this Super Bowl. LOL!
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Now, I really did not shoot you and in the commercial they really did not kill a cat.
TV is not real. Most people here get that but unfortunately America is full of people that are either busy being a victim or griping about what someone else is doing that is none of their business.
“My best friend’s cat was killed by a dog a few year’s ago.”
You should dedicate your life to closing the dog show loop-hole.
And in my pitiful heart of hearts I always lust to se the “removed by moderator” posts. I just know they’re good......
