Okay, comments and predictions here.

I thought the same thing.
Congrats to the Super Bowl Champion Giants.
And to the Cheatriots, Tommy Cry-Brady and Belicheat, thanks for the laughs for choking to the underdog in the Big One yet again.
ROFLMAO!!!!...............
LOL. And what a a class act, blaming Tommy Bridgit's-Brady-Daddy's teammates for the loss. Brady's Wife, Gisele Curses After Pats Loss .
Cry me a river in your Mao bikini.
Hi. I’m here but not nearly as much as before. Working way, way too many hours to survive the Obamaconomy.
Watching Tom Coughlin with his hat over his heart, singing the Star Spangled Banner before the kickoff, just gave me goosebumps. Then what a great game! The Giants really deserved the win, it was awesome! Certainly out-classed the patriots by a great deal more than the point spread.
Posh. Piffle. Balderdash. NY didn’t give you Hillary. Illinois via Arkansas gave Hillary to all of us. We were just trying to give her back. Although it seems she forgot to take that randy billy goat Bill with her when she went back to D.C. Anyway, that’s my story and I’m sticking with it.
Barf-O-Rama.
Obviously you have never played the game. The pass Manning threw on the sideline fade at the end of the game was perfect. The pass Brady threw to Welker was 2 feet behind hin and 3 feet high. When a quarterback throws a pass like that to a receiver it is generally because he doesn’t like him because those kinds of passes end careers. Eli 2, Brady 0.
Great post in #926, Lucky9teen. I hope you're right! :-)
Brady 5 Super Bowls, 3 Super Bowl wins.
Eli 2 Super Bowls, 2 Super Bowl wins.
Case closed.
I’m not sure either - I guess I should go read whatever’s on Wikipedia’s ST page. They did several albums I liked, no doubt.
If you like music from that era, see what you think of these (old artist, new material)

(He’s not a great singer, but he is a great writer. And that slide guitar (played by his understudy) - how sweet is that?? It’s stuck in my mind and I can’t get it out!!)

(great message by an old rocker who turned to Christ)
I got my ST albums confused. The one that I have and fell in love with is ‘Brother Where You Bound’. Not played like their earlier stuff (put out in 1985) but it is an awesome album. I like all of their work but Brother where you bound is different but the best (It’s after a change in band personnel too).
Thanks for the links! I’ll be listening.

If you have time later in the evening, check this out.
I’ll be listening to the links you sent this evening as well (on dial up here :O ) lol Doesn’t load too well when I’m surfing.
Well, finally getting back to this! (And very OT, but I suspect almost no-one is still following this thread.)
BWYB is great stuff! Appropriate too! Too bad THAT was not played at the Super Bowl. “Dedicated to our President...”
I should try to find a copy of the 1985 release (better recording in some ways):
http://www.dr.loudness-war.info/index.php?search_artist=supertramp&sort=album&order=asc
P.S. The DR site is clean at present, but the last time I was there, “justice for audio” (a link on the DR site) had been hit by some sort of malware. :-(
I don’t know if you’ll see this (maybe I should just PM you), but I wanted to “publicly” thank you for your mention of Supertramp’s BWYB — I only had it on vinyl until your post, and your post about it prompted me to A) Check the Dynamic Range Database for a potentially better than average release on CD; B) Having found a well rated German release on the DR database, I looked for that release on eBay and was able to snag it.
On a really good hi-fi system - oh, my goodness!! This is an incredibly good recording, which just brings out the musicianship all the more. “Brother” smokes most modern pop music so badly that I don’t even know how to describe the difference. (Sorry, Adele fans.) Maybe saying that it’s like comparing a powerful thunderstorm to a mewing kitten covers part of it, except that BTWB’s quieter and delicate sections are terrific too.
It’s also pretty interesting how BTWB’s lyrics, originally written for a much different political season, still strike a chord, though not in exactly the same way the band originally had in mind!
Anyway, I’ve been enjoying the heck out of my new copy of Brother Where You Bound, so, thanks again for bringing it up! :-)
Hey..what a great post. Thanks! I read it and you know what? I could (can) hear that song, each chord, the footsteps all of it. Of course it’s not ‘quite the same’ as playing it but for now it will have to do as it is late, I’ve lost an hour now because of the stinking time change, but wanted to wind down and check FR out before heading in.
Anyway, as one former colleague used to say: well darlin’ thank you for thanking me... :)
Take care my FRiend.
