I saw that ad when it was played. It was during the Rams v/s Patriots game and it was the next Superbowl after 9/11. I had a SB party that year and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

I know Madonna didn’t get her penthouse hotel and wouldn’t consider any other hotels so she went to Chicago but had not heard amount regular people not getting a room.
Game is just so-so, compared to playoffs. Perhaps the second half will prove me wrong.

The military-style drum corps and choir-robed chorus were not what I expected from a pop culture icon like Madonna. Throw on Clint Eastwood’s pep rally speech and you would think we were living in a conservative country. I am still trying to recover from the cognitive dissonance of the Super Bowl halftime...

That commercial sucked. I hope Mr. Eastwood takes a real close look at what socialism did to Detroit. Capitalism built that city, socialism destroyed it.
