Yep, it was a strange commerical for government motors.

But that doesn’t make sense, which is why it’s not the rule. If you’re down in the end zone it’s a safety. Penalty in the end zone is down, safety. That’s what makes sense. And technically speaking it’s the offensive team that scored, it’s why they kick it, so it is points with possession, just points for the other team, like shooting a basketball into the wrong net.
