Newt is not inspirational with his recent speeches. His image is weak. He has not handled attacks well. Everyone knows Newt is more conservative but he is not attracting more voters and more money at this point. He is helping Romney gain momentum. Obama has the same negative image.

-- "I won't hold my nose and vote for Romney" with attitudes like yours the outcome is assured. You are one of the problems with the Republican party --

Blaming the voter for the party's shortcomings is not a good strategy for making a strong party.

-- I don't see Romney as a saviour but at least he's not Obama. --

What has Obama done that affects your life in a seriously negative way? Congress is the source of all the laws; and most people are only moderately affected by even the most inane federal legislation. The financial collapse and oppressive taxes are coming regardless of which party continues the "big federal government" Social Security, Medicare and other safety nets. Demographics is destiny.

-- Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. --

I don't see the political system as "my nose," and neither is the GOP. They aren't even a wild hair on my butt (which wild hair I would not miss if it fell off). The party is just not that important, and won;t be until it picks up the challenge of making meaningful change.

Even with Romney heading the ticket I can see us winning given a good VP choice.

Truth is only so many Americans will knowingly vote for an avowed Marxist candidate hell bent on destroying the country.

Cryptic, I think the really cool new word is “Dog Whistle”. You know, whenever a Conservative it is Dog Whistle for a racist comment. Only conservatives’ understand the racist nuance of words like Good Morning and Cut Spending.

Pray for America

I must quickly jump in and assure you that he was talking about the commentator.

We don’t address each other as ‘idiots’ on this thread.

At least not so far.

To think that a politician would lie?, that’s a worse sin than farting in church.

This is where the Tea Party and Conservatives have to keep showing up, we weren’t going to be rid of the mavericks overnight, and every election we can participate in to brings us one step closer to educating a majority.

Please, no personal wrangling here.

If you want someone to post several pages of truths to prove to you that no one is worse than Obama, I can do that.

Hopefully, we will all regain perspective after the primaries and devote ourselves to keeping Obama out of the White House for 4 more years.

Newt was brilliant this morning opposing DNC Dave at every turn. Someone in his campaign obviously watches FR.HE did a great job and DNC Dave backed off big time. Just shows any time any of us are not afraid to go up against a DBM type they will cave! Just takes someone with huge cajones.

Not to mention, Obama is largely neutered thanks to the gridlock from Congress after 2010. We should ALL definitely show up to vote for Republicans in Congress. Obamacare is going to be such a disaster once it’s fully implemented that I don’t believe it would survive his second term and could definitely be repealed afterwards. If Romney gets in, it’s already been proven that he has no intention of repealing Obamacare. And the problem is, Romneycare 2.0 and all his other liberal policies will be supported by enough Republicans and Democrats alike to get them all passed. So gridlock is FAR AND AWAY the more appealing option compared to full Republican control with Romney at the helm.

Another risk with Romney is that his liberal policies will hurt the country so much, that we’ll destroy our brand within 4 years, and Obama will simply run again and serve his 2nd term in 2016 and sweep in a full Democrat majority in both houses along with him to implement the worst of his agenda. I’d rather see Obama suffer through a weakened, gridlocked second term than see him come back later during a full Democrat sweep.

Newt's message, one he is giving right on on MTP and is brilliant is not heard by all. How many middle of the roaders, uninformed Republicans/NPA's who decide elections, are hearing his message? Not enough.

And I double guarantee you the those Romney voters in FLA hadn't the faintest idea of his record
They were influenced by the lies about Newt in Romney's ads which were abetted by the MSM who know the truth about both candidates

Not one word of criticism about Romney's negative ads but when Newt responds he gets dumped on by both The MSM and conservative journalists

Newt is not inspirational with his recent speeches. His image is weak. He has not handled attacks well.

Many of his supporters have proclaimed that he is the only one who could decimate Obama in the debates.

His performance in the two FL debates and recent speeches show otherwise.

I was hoping Newt would find it within himself or get better campaign managers to help him regain his way.

Maybe he has.

They all lie. Obama lies everytime he opens his mouth. Now he is using the name of Jesus to lie. Hopefully, the biggest liar will lose. They will all pay the MSM for air time to promote thier lies, as the country goes down the drain.

When does Wallace ask a Democrat if a normal healthy pregnancy should end in abortion? I’d like to see that explained. May have to be a real conservative turns the question around on the media before we get close to finding an answer.

I just hate it when the left gets to select our candidates.Truth is this race is becoming all about money.Newt needed to get 7 or 8 more Sheldon Adelsons all giving 5 million at a time to stay competitive with Romney If he wants to have a chance at Super Tuesday. Especially in Texas. It has become all about the message and getting it out.Newt has to be able to counter the lies of Mitt Romney's super pacs that have seemingly endless money.

They don't sway us,we are informed. But look what happened in Floriduhhhhh.
