AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Is there a secret decoder ring for translating Rush’s messages?

Don’t say that. We have to get Obama out. Don’t vote FOR anyone...vote AGAINST Obama.

Kathleen Parker: "It's not that Mitt can't connect with the people; it's that the people can't connect with Mitt."

So, Kathleen, it's our fault?

If the base pins it hopes on ONE person, they are as wrong as the Paulbots.

The cult of personality is disgusting whether it’s an Obot, Paulbot, or any other type of bot. Principles, not people, should lead our movement; and I’m certain Palin would agree.

She chose not to run. She had the opportunity. I was disappointed, but for whatever reasons, it wasn’t her choice this time to run. I respect her decision, as she knows what she is and isn’t capable of far better than I and I would hate to think that we would have to “draft” or force someone to run after they chose not too.

Pinning hopes on pipe dreams is not going to help anyone any more than a third party will. Third Parties do not accomplish anything!

LMAO. Of course. Millions of people are at fault rather than the one guy who wants to lead ‘em.

Sheesh.

Soledad O’Brian called Kathleen Parker a “conservative”. LOL!

Just like David Brooks...

But even in Rush’s context I still don’t get it? Santorum made some very bad votes for mo’ money down the rathole, lots of them. So it’s not he that is flawless. Do you get who is not flawed?

its not why i am dispirited

bachmann is far superior to palin

its our side that buys the establishment ‘unelectable’ tag like drones and play strategy voting when they are not smart enough to do it

then we have the people that pout and say they won't vote if their favorite does not win

and the ones that push candidates that don't want to run

and third party types

this is how we get mclettuce

this is how we get obama

Romney may have won 10 out of 26 elections, but in primaries, Paul has him beat. Paul is 0 for 104 in state wide primaries. lol. 46 more states to go!!!!!!!!!!

In RUSH’S context; not YOUR context. Maybe Rush doesn’t see those votes as flawed; I cannot answer why or how he arrived at his conclusion, but that is what he said.

Santorum made some dumb votes he regrets, sure. Some votes to get things like DOMA passed that had unsavory attachments with it. I think he’s thinking in the context of couch sitting and Romneycare. But you are welcome to call him and ask what he meant but he hinted earlier he may explain it.

Principles, not people

But it takes PEOPLE with these principles for us to make a vote. We cannot simply vote for conservatism. I mean, we can, but that may not rid the White House of Obama, especially if voting for conservatism means many not voting in the general.

To that point, I would also say that MANY Americans voted in 2008 on some kind of principle called "Hope and Change". They sure did not vote for Obama because Obama was not fully vetted. Now people who would vote for Obama's re-election would definitely fit the Obot mold, but in 2008, the vote was for a movement not for a man.

Noot may have been able to buy some ads with what he paid himself from his campaign: https://www.facebook.com/groups/285864798128179/301572756557383/

It takes people who are willing to run. Unfortunately, these are the choices we have. Also, it's not beneficial to say ONLY x can get my support. Only X can carry the conservative mantle. Attaching yourself to a person, rather than to principles will get you Obama.

Well Rush why did you say that at the last minute if not to get people thinking that is who you’re endorsing?

Rush, Palin etc need to stop playing games and endorse someone. We need to focus on getting rid of Obama. I’m sick and tired of all the fighting BS back and forth.

This may be our best chance ever for a brokered convention. Santorum is way up in Missouri, the next primary up. This may be because Gingrich is not on the ballot there, however. Don’t forget to give Virginia to Romney. He and Paul are the only ones on that ballot.
