Principles, not people
But it takes PEOPLE with these principles for us to make a vote. We cannot simply vote for conservatism. I mean, we can, but that may not rid the White House of Obama, especially if voting for conservatism means many not voting in the general.
To that point, I would also say that MANY Americans voted in 2008 on some kind of principle called "Hope and Change". They sure did not vote for Obama because Obama was not fully vetted. Now people who would vote for Obama's re-election would definitely fit the Obot mold, but in 2008, the vote was for a movement not for a man.

It takes people who are willing to run. Unfortunately, these are the choices we have. Also, it's not beneficial to say ONLY x can get my support. Only X can carry the conservative mantle. Attaching yourself to a person, rather than to principles will get you Obama.
