White House Press Secretary Jay Carney says there are no constitutional rights issues involved in a regulation issued by the administration that requires all health-care plans in the United States to cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that induce abortions.
Because the Catholic Church holds that sterilization, artificial contraception and abortion are morally wrong and Catholic cannot be involved in them, the regulation--in combination with the Obamacare mandate that all Americans buy health insurance--will force American Catholics to choose between following the federal regulation or following the teachings of their church.
I dont believe there are any constitutional rights issues here, Carney said when asked at todays White House briefing about the regulation.
The administration believes that this proposal strikes the appropriate balance between respecting religious beliefs and increasing access to important preventative services, Carney told reporters....

If I hadn’t become so accustomed to the 0bama administration’s frequent, wanton displays of unmitigated hubris, I might call their hypocrisy, “breathtaking”.
But now, it’s just another blatant, cynical expression of contempt for everything this nation once stood for.
There is no “balance” between the First Amendment’s guarantee of our God-given right to freedom of religion and administrative regulations on health insurance. Individual freedom has absolute priority, and the Church should use a scorched earth approach. No Catholic institution should be permitted to comply with this law without (1) losing their tie to the Church, and (2) all Catholics affiliated with the organization being excommunicated from the Church as well. No Catholic individual may vote for anyone who supported this law or who fails to promise to repeal it without being excommunicated. This is a fundamental on which there can be no compromise. We are facing pure evil, and this is not the time to pretend that liberals are working in good faith, nor can we pretend that this is just one of many issues to consider when voting.
And it will result in, my prediction, mark my words, in a new or second American revolution to become a reality.
The list, Ping

We'll need to get everybody together to get a mandate to provide frontal lobotomies on these people. At least they won't be figuring out how to oppress people anymore ~ as I recall it was really effective with that Kennedy woman. Couldn't even tie her shoes anymore.
Soon, I hope.
Time for a Law suit based on this statement by the White House.
All Christian denominations should join together in a joint action and hire Jay Sekulow and Tom Fitton and begin the Lords work of defeating these enemies, who have know shown us they are the Anti-Christ.
When?
If this isn’t a violation of the Constitution, then I guess it wouldn’t be a problem to force Muslims to eat pork.
I bow to only one King...and His name aint bambam...
frigging hell , you don’t have to go through all of the constitution or amendments to find that they are in violation.
It’s on the first one
