Romney backers at Gingrich events run into political pit bull
Los Angeles Times ^ | January 29, 2012 | Seema Mehta

Reporting from Port Saint Lucie, Fla.— Dubbed the "proxies with moxie," Mitt Romney's congressional backers have been crashing Newt Gingrich's events to offer a counterpoint to the former House speaker's remarks. It's an unusual tactic to begin with, but their collisions with Gingrich's testy spokesman, R.C. Hammond, have made their sparring into the campaign trail's version of must-see TV.

Gingrich said he doesn't mind their presence, which he said is a sign of desperation by Romney.

"They send a member of Congress, we send R.C. It's a slight overmatch — R.C.'s a little bit more informed than they are, but nonetheless, it's fine with me. He can send as many members as he wants," Gingrich told reporters. "When he gets tired, we'll bring Toby back, and Toby's agreed to help R.C. take a hit."

Toby is Hammond's dog.

And that about sums up the tenor of the exchanges. Take one between Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and Hammond in Mount Dora on Thursday, when a discussion of a congressional ethics investigation of Gingrich turned into an aside about the Thomas system, the Library of Congress' online database.

"Do you know how to use the Thomas system? Have you looked up the report?" Hammond asked.

A bemused Chaffetz replied, "I know you're shaking, you're nervous. I know he should provide all those documents."

Hammond persisted: "So have you ever used the Thomas system to look up the report? Have you ever read it?"

"Really?" Chaffetz said. "This is what you've got to ask me? Have I looked at the Thomas system?"

Hammond continued: "Again, you haven't confirmed.....

“Ya know what. There’s never an excuse for rude.”

I’ve been watching you for months, even unfortunately conversed with you once or twice. The above is a hell of a statement for someone like yourself to make.

All Mormons are married. How else would Bay find a husband?

Jason Chaffetz is a Mormon who was spokesperson for LDS pyramid scheme NuSkin. His work was rewarded with full backing for a congressional seat for which he is utterly unqualified. The LDS is the evil empire. they back Mittens, but they also back amnesty for illegals. Whites are fleeing the LDS in droves and they need to replace them with Latins. Thus the push for amnesty. They even took out one of their own - Russell Pearce - in Arizona, replacing him with Jerry Lewis, their handpicked open-borders Mormon RINO.

I am wondering if Bay Buchanan, Chaffetz, etc are getting credit for missionary work. Someone should tell them, especially Bay, that the uniform is white shirt/black pants, not jeans that emphasize middle age spread. I really am finding this behavior, especially by a sitting Congressman, downright creepy.

And, am very disappointed in young Connie Mack and his bride, Mary Bono. Especially since young Connie Mack declared himself a candidate for the US Senate next year. Endorsing/supporting Romney is one thing, but this shadowing is just weird, particularly when they are so ill-informed.

Exit polling is showing percentages in excess of blacks voting for Obama.

That’s just creepy.

There is something fundamentally wrong and very suspicious about anyone from ANY religion voting in those kinds of numbers for someone based on the religion they practice.

As many have stated in previous posts: if Mitt Mormon religion is the foremost issue for his Mormon supporters, why is it wrong if it becomes a big issue for his detractors? How can one be okay and the other bigotry?

Is the lesson we’re learning here that no matter how vile, despicable, Liberal, and anathema the Mormon Republican on the ballot, we’re going to have to deal with 90% Mormon support for the person? I sure hope not.

We have some sorry assed people on our side anymore. They act more like democrats. Well, maybe it is because they are.

They are not on our side.

They've declared War on the Tea Party!

By the time all of this is over, if Romney wins it will be a Pyrrhic Victory at best.

He'll lose at least 40% of the conservative vote in the General election though most of them will vote GOP down ticket for those who did NOT support Romney.

Obama in a landslide. House back to Democrat control. 60 Democrat seats in the Senate.

We promise.

This party will be cleansed, one way or another.

Domino effect of communism is now falling accross the GOP establishment landscape.

Watch them start cursing at us like retarded demoncraps.

Liberalism is a mental disorder which can be contagious and fundamentalized on the most retarded Judicial laziness and stuck on stupid precedents.

Taxachusetts here! I can tell you that year after year our insurance options change for the worse. Prices increase, deductibles increase and coverage gets changed to cheaper and cheaper companies. Before Romneycare you would have at least 4 - 6 companies to choose from and they were pretty good companies to deal with. Now in the last 3 years we have gone to the worst 2 you could possibly have. To decide between the two was painful at best.

Prices for the insurance have skyrocketed as well and you are not allowed not to have coverage. Our expenses last year over and above what we pay for the insurance itself wiped out a more than a months paycheck.

What is happening is we are paying for those that do not have coverage in this state and still the system is bankrupt! Of course we are home to a lot of unwanted illegals if you haven’t heard!

The more I look at the composition of GOP office-holders, the more I realize there are generally two types: “Conservatives” (genuine right-of-center, fiscally and socially) who are fewer and fewer every year, and RINOs. The RINOs often share the same views as those in the Democrat party. So much so, that I think they are also-rans and rejects who didn’t have “the right stuff” to climb the rungs of power in the Democrat Party and are simply in the Republican Party to climb the rungs there.

Mitt Romney's Biggest Backers: Pyramid Schemers?

NuSkin - Lund - Lund: 2 Utah companies donate $1 million apiece to Romney PAC ....."Companies called Eli Publishing and F8 LLC contributed $1 million each to Restore Our Future. The companies share an address in downtown Provo and the super-PAC received the money from both on the same day"....

Yes. It's very passive aggressive (as that man taunting R.C. Hammond at the events) and apparently something Mormon men excel at -- they don't come right out and confront you (I guess that's what Romney's debate coach was called in to teach Mitt).
