GOP Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich delivers the keynote speech at the Palm Beach County Republican Party's 2012 Lincoln Day Dinner.
Live at 8PM EST Saturday, 1-28-12
Or—the next time Romney starts in on the attacks, let Newt respond by shaking his head slowly and saying, with a smile, “There you go again!”
And since it will be a lie, follow it with ‘can’t you get anything right’?
wow this thread is still going!
“Don’t be for me. Stand with me.” Newt Gingrich 2012
good night all.
Thank you for the heads up. God bless.
Newt’s words - Good words to sign off with. G’night.
I wish in the debates Newt would do what Sarah did: ignore the stupid question, talk about important issues, and tell the truth about 0bama. I can’t stand that our candidates look like insects at a flea circus, conducted for the amusement of the press and the elite.

Wow. That didn't even occur to me, until you said it. That IS wonderful.
Where's Michelle Bachmann? She ought to be endorsing Newt too.
I'm frankly amazed that Newt's not already on that nutritional regimen. I know that I'd be, at his age, and with all the stress he's got on his plate.
I hope so, bray. And thank you for speaking to me in a civil manner. Very unexpected.
Michelle Bachmann is even later. I'm wondering where her endorsement is.
I wish they would do that TOMORROW, and not wait, so that it can be in the news ahead of the primary!
The GOP establishment is making a big mistake
by trying to squeeze Newt out of the race.
There will be a backlash.
The people will choose Newt for a Real big change,
not for a phoney change promised by 0.
If you understand why Ventura was elected gov of MN,
or why Reagan was elected, then you will know why
Newt will be The next president.
Forida’s AG, Pam Bondi, is a Romney backer.
I’ve been looking for that video from the Tea Party Express rally where I saw that man say that, but I can’t find it.
I know I don’t have all the details right, but it was along those lines.
Truth in advertising laws should apply to politicians.
Could be a positive thing...I was out of the country on voting day here in SC...I arranged to vote absentee (for Newt by the way). I wasn’t about to let my opportunity slip away to cast a vote in the primary; even at the time I was not hopeful of a Newt win, but sure was delighted when I learned otherwise.
Because she's benefited from "the system" as an IRS lawyer (she's more of an establishment insider than she lets on), and because, for reasons I can't quite put my finger on (but think of as she's not been telling accurate truth - but I don't think she's a deliberate liar), I speculate that her heart is more with the powers that be than with those who want to upend the powers that be.
Her endorsement would help Gingrich, if she gave it - but I speculate she'll not endorse anybody.
At the same time, I wonder how much of her support, locally (money and talent) comes from party hacks.
For various reasons, mostly that I think she's quite vain, I think she'll do whatever she believes will benefit her the most. She's not made the impression on me that she is a deep principled thinker (I've said that I think she's a bit of an airhead), I would not be surprised if she endorsed Romney. That might be where her money and power base lie.
I suspect the fellow said he would request charges; not that the AG necessarily would press them, or that the AG is of like mind. The State AG is firmly in Romney's camp.
I am curious what sort of charges he thinks are suitable. As far as I know, it is perfectly legal to lie during a political campaign, with a few exceptions for sworn statements. And, as far as I know (but I'm not even a neophyte at election law), the FEC handles the statements that are made under some risk of penalty, and also is the first line of enforcement for federal campaign finance law.
