I watched that C-SPAN feed for quite some time, and it went on to show a Tea Party rally. I will get these details wrong (someone correct me), but there was a man who spoke who was either a local Tea Party leader/founder, or a local politician (or both), and he started talking about Romney and his lies. The man said he was a lawyer, and if Romney continues to lie, the Attorney General of the State of Florida will open up charges against him.

I wish they would do that TOMORROW, and not wait, so that it can be in the news ahead of the primary!

Forida’s AG, Pam Bondi, is a Romney backer.

I suspect the fellow said he would request charges; not that the AG necessarily would press them, or that the AG is of like mind. The State AG is firmly in Romney's camp.

I am curious what sort of charges he thinks are suitable. As far as I know, it is perfectly legal to lie during a political campaign, with a few exceptions for sworn statements. And, as far as I know (but I'm not even a neophyte at election law), the FEC handles the statements that are made under some risk of penalty, and also is the first line of enforcement for federal campaign finance law.

The AG of FL is a ROmney backer. JR and a few of us caught her on Greta the other night. She was offer a position an his health care panel and read off a card the talking points proving that Obama care is the same as Romneycare....She is a political whore. Search Pam Bondi on threads. or Jim Robinson’s posts

I didn’t see it but it sounds like our previous AG, Bill McCollum. He is supporting Newt and is campaigning with him in FL.

McCollum is the AG that started the suit against Obamacare and Pam Bondi just hitched on to that bandwagon when she became AG in 2010.
