It’s funny that shortly before the South Carolina primary, I told my mother I could hold my nose and vote for Romney. That was before I did my research on the guy. Then I discovered his overt pro-abortion-ism (not just pro-choice-ism, but all out pro-abortion), his hatred of the Second Amendment, and the fact that he not only created ObamaCare in Massachusetts, but his people went to Washington to help Obama put it on a national scale. This guy is going to be a disaster. Disaster!
Amen. People are too lazy to read their records re: legislation, vote, context (such as majority, gang ifs, dems holding legislation up due to pet projects, statements on the record/video).
I also noticed individuals that show up at the darnest times to stir up dissent/drama.
Thank God some of us follow the house and senate floors and have memories
BTW, I told many we should’ve hit the press/network offices much more re: biased/made up reporting and reporters donations, connections, backgrounds... A long time ago.
Not sure why I’m in this conversation, but I wholly advocate each person voting on their own unique conscience.

All I'm saying is that I do not understand how a rich, powerful, respected figure -- one who is going to be in the history books, and one who can never spend all the money he already has -- I personally cannot understand how such an individual can feel pressured by anyone.
If anyone is untouchable it's Rush. If Rush feels compelled to do something he does not want to do, then the Devil is at work.
I shut off Rush and listened to that video posted at Reihl World View. Newt DID NOT diss Reagan or the Reagan years. He basically said that given the choice, voters will respond to a forward looking agenda rather than look to the past. He said Bush was right in his “no new taxes” comment in NH and that the war on drugs was failing. If I remember correctly, that was about the time of Len Bias’s cocaine overdose.
Rush should know better as his words are often taken out of context.
It is time to face the truth: RUSH HAS GOTTEN LAZY AS HE HAS GROWN IN SUCCESS. It happens all the time. He know longer takes the time to do independant research. The man has become more and more a reactionary snot. I am done with him. RUSH reminds me of a 5 year old now days. And to think I was such a big supporter in the early days when he truely was a voice of reason.
It’s important for us to realize we have individual biases, as well. For example, if you ever expect me to portray an unbiased portrait of Ron Paul; you’ll be disappointed. lol.
We need to realize no candidate is perfect. And once Noot beats Obumma (if that’s the matchup), we need to be willing to fight Noot tooth and nail if need be when he veers off course. (Or Romney or Paul or Santorum or Mitch Daniels or some unnamed candidate who jumps in). We need to realize that none of these people will have our back when they get in office.
I’m tired of being let down because I put my faith in a politician. It’s better to just be up front with ourselves from the beginning so we don’t get weighed down with disappointment when these candidates revert to form.
Also, if we think what we’re doing to any of the candidates is hard, just wait until Obumma starts.

I turned the volume back up for Rush’s show once I finished listening to the cspan vid. It was an interview with Newt, Lynn Martin and Bill Green from NY. The title of the program was The Republican Party after Reagan.
RUSH, I agree with the blogger. I want someone who is despised “inside the beltway”.
