Busted big time, but it beats jail.

Thanks for posting, RedRover. America’s finest BTTT!
Just got another piece I will post tonight.
~snip~
Lieutenant General Waldhauser believes SSgt Wuterich did not kill anyone in House Number One or House Number 2, lead defense attorney Neal Puckett told the military judge during his closing argument. His integrity is unfaltering. Capt (now Major) McConnell doesnt wear his Combat Action Ribbon because SSgt Wuterich didnt receive his.
I have a feeling Waldhauser is going to do the right thing
At least the Sarg knows where he stands at this point. Perhaps cool heads will prevail and they will drop the rank busting idea as well. Guess we shall know soon enough.
I’ll be here. :)
This whole thing has been a show trial. I hope the Staff Sergeant’s rank is preserved. What a terrible nightmare for an innocent man, his men, and his family.

I’ll be here too, better late than never. :-)
Another good piece by Nat and informative. Would dearly love to see Lieutenant General Waldhauser negate all punishment and have a feeling that’s not out of the question.
McGirk is a weasel, he’s trying to make excuses for writing that pathetic hit piece and he never interviewed a single al Qaeda face to face or saw where this took place, just exchanged emails with them. Don’t know how he has the guts to say anything now.
Is Sullivan the guy who was so wrong about Lt Col Lakin? The guy who thinks he knows so much about the military justice system but ended up supporting the idea that the lawfulness of combat orders has nothing to do with them being authorized by the only person the law allows to authorize combat? The guy on the uc-mj website?
If so, then I now understand why this whole thing stinks so bad.
Thanks RedRover (and others) for all the work you have done in keeping us informed about the Haditha incident and our Marines. I have enjoyed the love of God, country, and our troops displayed by almost all posters on these threads. While I haven’t said much, I have followed these cases closely, and am glad to finally see the prosecution/persecution of these Marines end. I appreciate the quality of the work done and the information presented by Nat Helms and other posters regarding each of those charged. I am hopeful the adjudication goes well for SSgt. Wuterich, and, in any case, he will be finally able to move forward with life and as a father to his girls.
God bless each of these men as they move forward with their lives!
Wow. Brought tears to my eyes.
Thank God.
Thanks for the ping, RedRover.
