It’s just turned into a spitting match.
Nothing can be cleared up in this setting. Newt should clear it up in his own way.
This whole beech fest is turning people off. I’m thinking of turning it off.
Romney’s horrible but he’s making Newt look ineffective.
I think Newt should move away from this now.
The debate is not being shown on our local NBC station in Seattle. I thought that I was recording it and all I got is local news.
OH SURE NOW ITS OK TO LAUGH AND CLAP FOR MITT!
asshole
Mitt drew blood. Newt must stay cool and not be led by Romney Pest into angry guy.
oh oh the audience broke ranks and clapped.
Omg!! if I were in that audience I would have a horn and every time willard and paul opened their mouths I would blow it so freakin loud!!
Newt’s comments initiating “must repeal Dodd-Frank” hit home. Mitt says “yup, he’s right”, etc... Newt got in the first jabs on the issue.
Audience applauds for Mitt! Good on ‘em!
Castro has official endorsed Mitt.
Ha! I just realized that, too...here in Manhattan my guide says Fear Factor: “Leeches and Shaved Heads.” Perhaps they could introduce that into tonight’s showdown to give it some pep. :)
“The dimensions and the sources of Romney’s wealth, which he has estimated to be as much as $250 million, have become pivotal issues in the roiling GOP primary campaign. For months, Romney dismissed calls to release his personal income tax records. But after mounting criticism from his rivals and others, coupled with his stinging weekend loss to Gingrich in the South Carolina primary, Romney agreed to release his 2010 return and 2011 estimate.
Romney’s most recent financial disclosure report listed several investments in U.S.-backed lenders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Romney, Gingrich and other GOP critics repeatedly have all singled out the two quasi-government entities as prime villains in the housing crisis that played a central role in the nation’s long and deep recession.
While continuing to hammer Gingrich for his consulting work for Freddie Mac, the Romney campaign sought to deflect questions about the former Massachusetts governor’s investments. They include a mutual fund worth up to $500,000 that includes assets from both lenders among other government income, and separate investments in each of the lenders in Romney’s individual retirement account, each worth between $100,000 and $250,000.”
But it'll play very badly for Rombot with flyover folks, and Newt can handle the heat without help from the fellating enemedia.
Myth sounds like another whiny little sissy Ø .. true to type.
Yeah but Newt got about the same reaction when he said Castro wouldn’t be meeting his maker, but going to the “other place”.
Thank you!
The Cuba stuff is proving to be really good. Watch Paul step in it, though.
Is it just me??
Or is that set DESIGNED to make Newt look washed-out??
Notice the white behind him you don’t see anywhere else??
Yeah, Paul did have good answers on Fannie/Freddie.
But audience was told to be comatose! Surely they did not applaud and defy Brian! /s
This debate seems pretty worthless. NBC steering away from any issues that matter because they know what is where Newt shines.
Right. Newt has some 'splaining to do. He needs to not run from the charges but hit them head on and answer to the American people.
