Newt said he would be ok with Obama's use of a teleprompter during the debates.

Newt could add smoke breaks for Obama in his debate taunts :-)
Newt should offer to tie half his brain behind his back, just to make it fair ;-)
Obama’s opening remarks: Uh,um,I, ummm [mic reverbs] oh..um uh..I,I,I..
Obama doesn’t want to debate Gingrich - I can see him refusing to debate, preferring to “let his record speak for himself” (with media spin of course).
The only question - will Newt come out and call him a coward if he refuses?
Newt’s speech this evening contains the basic elements that will rally the conservative base nationwide. I’m convinced that Gingrich will destroy Obama in the general election and, as a result, Sen McConnell will become the majority leader albeit without doing a damn thing to help Newt.

1. Debate one at a Maui resort.
2. Debate two at Martha’s Vineyard.
3. Debate three at Pebble Beach.
4. Debate four at Lake Tahoe.
5. Debate five at a Kona resort.
6. Debate six at Palm Springs.
7. Debate seven at Augusta Golf Club.
Newt is the only one to call Obama an Alinsky radical.
There will be NO debates with Obama.
Unfortunately, Newt Gingrich is not a popular person with the Washington illuminati, not only amongst the media, but in both parties.
He’s rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Anyone is Washington who has rocked the boat is going to have a lot of enemies, and many people who have worked with him will tell you, he’s not the easiest person to get along with.
Fortunately the entire country hasn’t worked with him and if he is indeed a bit of an a-hole, that won’t matter. How he comes across to the people, that’s what will matter.
Hillary Clinton is an absolute ogre, one of the ugliest people would would ever have to put up with, but America thinks she’s a saint.
The “regulars” at Fox think Romney is exciting (snork snork).

My comment would have been “Without the teleprompter, Obama would be a dead fish in the water with Newt.”
I think every one of us would love to see it happen. But it won’t. If Newt is the nominee he will be lucky to get one 90 minute debate. barky and his handlers aren’t dumb enough to agree to more than that.
NO teleprompter can possibly assist anybody in a one on one debate!

No matter the debate format, no matter if it's a rigged League-of-Progressive-Women-Voters forum, Newt might just turn to Obama and say something that will shake him to his foundation. On live TV, with no where to run, no where to hide!
Nothing says Newt has to follow the debate moderators rules once he's on the stage. He could humiliate Obama until he would literally have to flee...leaving Newt and a stunned nation, all alone, to pick up the pieces.
This is the raw power of Newt, he is a dangerous man to do battle with.

They spend month after month bashing Newt and then say, Gee, he shouldn’t be the nominee, his negatives are too high! I really see no difference at all between Fox and any of the other “news” channels anymore.

Honest, I’ve enjoyed many of the reports on CNN lately. They seem AT TIMES, a bit less biased ...at times.
