Leftists, MittBots, PaulBots, RINOs, Karl Rove establishment types and trolls of many stripes and colors have one-by-one driven our leading grassroots conservative candidates out of the race. They worked for years on Palin, then Perry, then Cain, then Bachmann, now Newt. When ever a non-establishment, non-RINO conservative gets into the lead they open fire and 24/7 trash and torpedo until they drive them out.

If Jesus were to run as a GOP candidate, the media would make up something to disqualify Him.
However, a Democrat with a questionable past, who has a terrorist as friend and a racist as a pastor does not hear a discouraging word from the corrupt media.
Anyone who continually holds a grudge, repeats the past and condemns Newt for something that happened over 15 years ago, (Which he has repeatedly been honest about and regrets, as well as apologized for.) and who dwells on lies fabricated mostly by the Left, should go down the road.

I was all in for Perry as an honorable man who would consider his allies, as you know. Perry is now in for Newt, so what talents I have are all in for Newt.
Santorum, I respect. Should Newt fail, I will be all in for him, though he makes me nervous. The man is an honorable and committed social conservative. I just worry about his fiscal conservatism and his devotion to spreading the democracy word.

Exactly. When the entitlement crowd realizes that we are well and truly broke so no more handouts are coming, they'll be angry and many will turn violent. When the far-left extremists realize that their agenda failed and their subversive work of decades has been for naught, they will encourage civil disobedience and that too will turn violent. When that happens and it will, we'll need a man of strength, wisdom, and experience in the WH.
My personal opinion is that Santorum is not that man, regardless of his solid social conservative record. The next POTUS must lead while under tremendous pressure from the fallout of difficult choices. Santorum's performance at the last debate spoke volumes. The man does not respond well under pressure. He hasn't led or run anything significant. He has zero experience from which to draw.
Newt Gingrich is the man with strength, wisdom, and experience.

As I said in an earlier post I will vote for Noot. Like you said I thought I would be holding my nose like when I voted for Yosimity Sam (McLaim) but Noot is head and shoulders above Yosimity.
