Got to defer to you, deport. Still, Perry is Trxas. It is one of the most unique states I have ever been in and I love it. I think Perry loves it far more than I do and DC would just drain him. I would hate to see that happen.

Exactly...he will remain in Texas. He loves being Governor there and certainly he believes he's made great strides for the state. So why leave for a Washington position when he's shinning for Texas...not to mention all the projects he's moving there.
My Catholic faith teaches me that I must forgive others as I ask God to forgive me.

But, He did die to save us from our sins: if we assume our own "righteousness" does, we are swallowing the line of the Deceiver hook, line and sinker!
Newt's "vision for America" is right on: his view of himself is what has been pretty faulty--which it is for any human who is blind to the truth that he is fallen creature, guilty of sin, and worthy of "temporal and eternal punishment."
But Christ died precisely for this creature--it is His Righteousness that we put on--not our own.
If Newt is now professing to be a believer in Christ Jesus, I WILL hope and pray he has been given at least a glimpse of this incredible and precious truth, and also fervently pray that God keep his eyes "fixed on Jesus"--for his own sake, and for the sake of our own "one nation, under God!"
Unforgivable. If people have issues with a candidate, they should address those issues, not engage in hate and slander. I was very disappointed by many of those posts and I hope I never see that kind of attack again.
It is nice to know that Governor Perry would go along with the people of this state if we had to succeed from the Union..and believe me there are those of us that is so scared that Obama and his thugs will be reelected or steal the presidency again..
