........But his greatest presidential stumbling block may be right under his nose. At home, Newt's second wife, Marianne Ginther Gingrich, tells me she doesn't see herself in the First Lady's job. "Watching Hillary has just been a horrible experience," commiserates Marianne. "Hillary sticking her neck out is not working."
What happens if Newt runs?, I ask.
"He can't do it without me," she replies. "I told him if I'm not in agreement, fine, it's easy" --she giggles at her naughtiness. "I just go on the air the next day, and I undermine everything...I don't want him to be president and I don't think he should be."
Why not?
"Right now, the presidency is not a single person. It's not so much what he'd be doing. It's what I'd be doing.".........

I see by your posting history that you’re a Slick Willard fan.
Couple facts: Marianne Gingrich was married before she met Newt, and she was seeing Newt before his divorce.
Bill Clinton was screwing everyone but his show-wife before the campaign, during the campaign, after the campaign and after his presidency. He was also credibly accused of a violent rape, sexual harassment, intimidation of witnesses and lying under oath to a Grand Jury.
Newt’s had two affairs, and they come up pretty much every time his name is mentioned. He’s admitted to them, found renewed faith in the Catholic Church and has been married for eight years.
Nobody’s denying that Newt’s a deeply flawed individual with a lot of baggage. These are desperate times and he’s the best fighter we’ve got.
Hardly. Do you honestly think that the MSM that goes after Bain from the 90’s won’t do after Newt from the 90’s?
WAKE UP!!
"I rest my case."
Not buying it when you clearly know what a "ping" is.
Oh BTW, you should read post 63. I re-posted it for your convenience:

And his 2nd wife promised to end his presidential aspirations in 1995. THAT is the point. Polls show him doing well in SC and VOILA! she talks to ABC. What a SURPRISE!
Good question, mr. constitutional whatever. Ask youself, how come the double standard. You know, the one where all things republican get front page, and all things democrat get no mention, or get a move on dot org to help you move along, because there is nothing to see here?
1995 is a long time ago.
You’d think that man or woman would get past that in public, even if not personally.
She has let the guy live rent free up there all this time, waiting for payback and sharpening her long knives. She looks to play the part of shrew now?
What a harpy. He’s better off without her.
Fear makes people do stupid things. It always has, and it always will. That is a fact of life.
Another fact of life is that the courageous are the most likely to be victorious, and that to be courageous, you have overcome your fear. Fearful people are the ones who would vote for Romney over Obama even though Romney betrays every conservative principle they stand for. Fearful people lose -- that's why if Romney won, it would have all the rewards of a coward's victory.
Courageous people are victorious people. Courage requires putting fear aside and standing up to look the problem in the face. Courage doesn't always ensure victory, but expectations of victory without courage are plain wishful thinking. It is the same kind of wishful thinking that refuses to face the fact that Romney would absolutely disarm conservative Republicans and empower liberals in both Democrat and Republican parties. If Romney got the White House, that would be a consequence just as sure as you're born.
Pure fear of Obama is making good Republicans stick their fingers in their ears, squeeze their eyes shut, and chant "na na na na na na" because they lack the courage to accept the certainty that Romney would empower liberalism in the halls of government more, and more insidiously, than Obama would. GUARANTEED.
Under Romney, conservatives would be weakened and helpless to fight against "their own administration," whereas under Obama, conservatives could rally and fight back.
I'm fearful of both Obama and Romney. I put the fear aside, muster courage, and try to determine the best move. Fear tells me, "go the easy route and if you have to, vote for Romney." Courage tells me to reject Romney under any circumstances for the greater chance of winning back America.
Where courage tells you go to, lies the best path to victory.

Miserable-Marrianne-Bitch
It’s not a surprise, because the media is doing it.
And you have no clue in trying to define my politics by my posting history. You are being too single minded.
Again, wake up.
It might be interesting to see if her bank account has had an 'infusion' -
One thing for sure, Santorum will likely not have one word to say about it against Newt. He must be holding his breath hoping the U.S. news continues to be quiet on his wife's past.
Just how DOES the news decide on which stories 'must' come out and which to spike? - never mind...
“Obamas old flame is discreet.”
