taking the Obama administration to task over the forthcoming decision to pull the plug on the U.S.-Canadian oil pipeline:
Newt Gingrich, who frequently talks about the Keystone Pipeline in his stump speech, railed on the news that President Obama is rejecting the permit.
Speaking to a standing-room only crowd of about 350 people in Warrenville, S.C., boos erupted when Gingrich said the pipeline had been vetoed.
Now, this is a stunningly, Gingrich began until he was interuppted by a crowd members shouting stupid mistake.
After pausing for a moment Gingrich responded, This is a stunningly stupid thing to do.

In 2012, we need a fighter and a communicator to beat 0. Newt Gingrich is the right man, in the right place, at the right time.
Nothing “stunningly stupid” about it. If you’re goal is to destroy an entire economy, which it is. THAT’S what would be refreshing to hear Newt say!
Agree it’s absolutely not a mistake.
Gingrich: “Stupid” amply covers it though. It is the one word that can most often describe accurately the Left, and their perspectives.
A stunningly Marxist thing to do.
The GOP or the State Department to blame - take your pick!!!
The Obama administration just announced the rejection of the controversial $7 billion Keystone Pipeline.
Juliet Eilperin of The Washington Post, first broke the news that the State Department, which led the review of the project, would reject a permit for the pipeline.
The rejection is expected to come from the State Department which has led the review

That’s the guy we are stuck with and may still get again.
“Focused like a lazer beam” on “stunningly stupid/”
and they call Newt “crazy”...wake up folks..it is Obama that is insane.
Marxists have no interest in growing the pie (economy); they want to tax those that made it and redistribute big hunks of it to those that have no interest in baking, only in eating for free.
I believe it was Canada that did not want to wait for an eternity while hussein put together a committee to study this so that he could give a thumbs down to their recommendations—not the “Republicans” fault. The gop needs to get this out to the public—PRONTO.
One would consume the universe listing “stunningly stupid” things the Cretin-in-Chief has done.
I figure that 0 feels that he has to veto the pipeline. He’s totally owned by the Saudi’s and Opec in General.
And THEY don’t want America to be free of their influence and their ability to export to America Islam, especially Wahabbi Islam.
Obama : Hmmmm Pipeline goes through ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, TX... All voted for McCain? PAYBACK Time!
Video of Newt’s statement. Awesome!

Part of the White House statement that blamed the republicans indicated that the administration will still be a strong supporter of energy that cuts US reliance on foreign oil.
Translate to read: We've got more Solyndra black holes in which to lose taxpayer money. Obama greasing the ol' environmental skids again.
.
None of the other candidates are doing so. Why don't Paul, Perry, Romney, and Santorum speak out on the Obama administration's actions?
(crickets)
Yes! Only Gingrich would come out and say “stunningly stupid” about a decision made by The Won.
