The Weekly Standard's Mark Hemingway wrote a few hours ago, "If in recent years it seems as if Newsweek has been descending into self-parody, it's still hard to imagine that this is real."
Indeed.
Is there anything the mainstream media won't do to get Obama reelected?

You’ll notice they don’t refer to him as “the President”.
As in “Why are the President’s critics so dumb?”

The more pertinent question is “Why was News Weak sold lock stock and barrel for the less than paltry sum of $1.00”
Because it is a worthless rag with no readers and totally irrelevant to life in America.
The post amounts to site pollution

Well, I've posted that several times over the past couple of years and it's never been removed yet. And, if it is, so be it...I promise I won't cry.
As for the double post, I have a new "cordless" mouse and it'm not used to it yet, so I double-clicked by mistake...sue me.

Palin could break the logjam with a strong public endorsement.
She should, if for no other reason than help solve this mess which she helped create.
Step up to the plate Governor Palin.
Cast your bet.

Interesting headline from a magazine whose content has shunk to the point where it could be published on the back of a postcard.

I actually read Sullivan's article. The headline is sensational. The article is just more evidence that Andrew is still in love with Obama. He tries to argue that Obama is a moderate who has brilliantly lead the economy back from the brink of collapse. He also slams Obama’s left wing critics too. This is clearly a case of Sullivan lovingly standing by his man — ridiculing both the Left and Right who misunderstand the “man with a plan.”
Btw, there is an even more digusting story in this rag alleging that Rick Santorum’s wife dated an abortion doctor when she was in her 20s. This magazine is disgusting.

Yep, like so many of Obama’s supporters, I decided to sell my car and send him the money for his re-election: $150.

We had a subscription to Newsweek in our house growing up in the 70’s. So I read it quite a bit as a kid. And then kept the subscription into adulthood.
It was a pretty good magazine in the pre-internet era. Sure, you had the usual MSM bias, but back in 1989 you couldn’t just google “Missile Defense” and learn all about what the progress was on the latest satellite laser.
I canceled out my subscription about five years ago when the liberal bias became too much to take. I think the real death started much, much earlier when they let Jonathan Alter take over so much of the editorial and content.
