Santorum is right. If Romney loses in South Carolina, we have time to rally around a conesrvative alternative. The time is now.

I don't think Romney nor Rick S. can take the fight to Obama and win. I still think Newt can deliver the message the best of America vs. redistribution.

Many years ago I was angry at the way national politics was being conducted. Rather than carefully research candidates and make a decision based on facts, I went with the one who seemed morally pious and superior.
Voting for Jimmy Carter is a huge regret I carry to this day, because Carter, socially conservtive but a fiscal liberal, believed and acted upon his belief in government solutions.
I am not going to make that same mistake again by voting for Rick Santorum.

Santorum has read the tea leaves right. And I am glad he is speaking against Romney.Romney loses the first debate when Obama asks him "What is the difference between you and me?"
"I think there are differences between me and Gingrich but frankly there are bigger differences between Romney and I than Newt and I," he said.
Right again, Rick. That's why should accept the VP slot when Newt offers it to you.The two of you would beat Romney, obliterate Paul, and then pummel Obama in what will be the toughest electoral slugfest in our lifetimes. Two are better than one.

Mitt Romney is a sure loser in November if he becomes the Republican presidential nominee. Which is exactly why the Mainstream Media is trying to foist Romney on us and have him win the nonimation. This is not new info.
They destroyed Herman Cain because he scared the crap out of them...he could possibly have beaten Obama.
Palin had to be dealt with because she could possibly have beaten Obama.
They are dealing with the last few stragglers to get Romney a clear path to the GOP nomination because he cannot beat Obama.

Barack Obama would "destroy" Romney in the general election Certainly doesn't sound like a "stalking horse" for Romney as a few have posted here.

Statement: "Santorum: Obama would 'destroy' Romney in November"
Response: I tend to agree.
Comment: How can Romney argue against "Obamacare" when Romney's Massachusetts program formed the basis of "The Divine One's" program. Further, Romney has taken so many positions similar to those taken by "The Divine One's" masters that Romney is a joke.

All Romney had going for him was that people saw him as “electable.”
That illusion is quickly being destroyed...and now, the emperor has no clothes.

The left has already chosen Romney and it's only a short matter of time until he's anointed.
The proper response would be to immediately begin a new political party that is focused upon representing conservatives, IMO.
Since the Republican party is basically a “moderate” version of the Democrat party, it wouldn't take many election cycles to replace the GOP, IMO.
This is the only way to reverse the leftward course this country is traveling via the ballot box, IMO.
