ROMNEY: 37%
PAUL: 26%
HUNTSMAN: 21%
GINGRICH: 11%
PERRY: 9%
BACHMAN: 0%
SANTORUM: 0%
Actually, Santorum won the vote among those who consider themselves Conservative.
He blew Newt away. 2-1.
Newt won more Indies and moderates, and that’s been enough to carry him over.
92.4%
Mitt Romney 91,460 39.3%
Ron Paul 53,210 22.9%
Jon Huntsman 39,172 16.9%
Newt Gingrich 21,869 9.4%
Rick Santorum 21,670 9.3%
Others 2,572 1.1%
Rick Perry 1,622 0.7%
Buddy Roemer 884 0.4%
Well played by the LIberal media in that the Conservative vote doesn’t get a delegate in the NH primary? This is a Conservative website, not a RINO website.
Do you really think the Founders wanted Conservatives to lose out on selecting their own candidate to represent us in the general election?
You just said, “well played by the Liberal media” by depriving a portion of the electorate a say in who represents Conservatives. Whose side are you on? The Libs? You do realize you are posting on a Conservative website where we are in favor of being represented in the upcoming election?
The Romney haters are just about all that posting!!!
Listening to the Levin show repeat and Mark had Jim DeMint on. Senator DeMint made the prediction that Romney is likely to win the South Carolina primary as the others are splitting the votes. And DeMint said he wasn't ready to endorse.
LOL. By less than 200 votes? And Santorum blew in there with no money and no organization. Some win.
Between the open primary rules and the MSM, well over half of registered New Hampshire Republicans were denied delegate representation to their own party's convention.
That is shocking disenfranchisement, which will be played out in other states.
That’s the real story tonight. What are the 50k registered republicans who got shut out going to do?
We just can’t have this.
I should think that I would know if Cain was ready to endorse anybody... There’s been nothing coming out of his camp.
And certainly nothing to suggest that he’s going to back Newt.
And we’ll hear the ad nauseum argument that “not” voting for Romney guarantees Obams wins.
What that line of thinking fails to understand it’s because those like me don’t believe Romney will do ANYTHING to slow down, much less stop, even more less roll back, the massive size and reach of the federal government?
How am I sure? Romney says, like every RINO, that he can “work with Democrats”. To do what? Give them 75-80% of what they want? To grow government at 10% a year instead of 12%?
But frankly, there isn’t one Republican running that would do anything different, not ever the vaulted Ron Paul.
No more Repubicans, more conservatives. Since I live in TN it won’t matter. The state will go big for Romney but won’t have any effect on state races. I think Lamar! is up and for some reason Tennesseans like Charlie Brown.
The founder of this website will not tolerate posters who push for Romney or Paul which is how it should be on a Conservative website.
These are his words:
Welcome to Free Republic, America's exclusive site for God, Family, Country, Life & Liberty conservatives!
ObamaCare = RomneyCare = CommieCare. NO Romney! NO WAY!!
Why would people who support Romney or Paul want to post on FR? The negative posts against Romney and Paul won't let up, both of them will continue to get bashed 24/7 on FR. Just accept it and move on.
I missed the story on 50k Republicans getting shut out. Is this about New Hampshire being denied 1/2 the delegates for having the primary before Feb. What happened?
If Romney is the nominee, Obama wins no matter what.
Yep, that’s ‘Newt Country’, celebrating not getting any delegates at all, but at least he beat Santorum by 200. ;)
Ron Paul 2012, give the Constitution a chance.
No, this is about the Santorum and Newt and Perry voters.
The NH primary works so that you have to get 10 percent or you get no delegates at all.
Santorum + Newt + Perry was about 50k voters, but because of awful splits, get no delegates. Thus all the conservative voters were disenfranchised from having any say on the delegate floor in the Republican primary.
After newts attack of Romney and Bain and his bizarre leftist language I would be shocked if a great businesssman like Cain would endorse Newt.
Among a multitude of things, I’m certainly not giving the (Paul) Neville Chamberlain appeasement policy a chance.
You are posting on Free Republic, giving a run down by precinct in real time for the NH primary and mocking that Conservatives will not have any representation with a delegate from the state of New Hampshire.
That is disgusting. This is a Conservative website and we do not want Romney or Paul to win the nomination.
Why mock Conservatives on a Conservative website?
Okay, why does it always take forever to get the last votes in. Stuck on 92% for the last 20 minutes. Can we please get the last votes in already?
