Is South Carolina a closed primary? What about FL?

Don't know. Anyone??

“Rush said just the opposite yesterday and seemed to take up for him. Rush drifting? If so, I’m done.”

I agree. RUSH either needs to forceful come out against Romney or not utter a word until Nov 2.

It’s one thing to vote for Romney if he’s up against Obama, it’s another thing to utter a single positive word about the guy.

I had such high hopes for 2012. As of tonight, I’m disgusted,

Meant to say 10% for Newt and 10% for Santorum in NH. Perry is at 1%

Florida is closed, South Carolina isn’t.

Ron Paul, a medical doctor, knows all the diseases that homosexuals are prone to get. This lefty (he’s a conservative my ass), still was one of the only republican congressmen to vote for sodomites to open serve in the Armed Forces.

He never, ever criticizes anything that his liberal buddy Romney does. Who’s also in favor of homosexuals openly serving in the US Armed Forces.

Both should have switched to the democrat party years ago.

It almost makes me want to cry seeing the way the left
has taken over the Republican Party. It will only stop when one conservative is standing to take out Romney. Unless Perry quits before SC, and hopefully Santorum, Willard the liberal will get the GOP nomination and there there is a good chance that democrats will rule American government for the next 12 years. Sad.

Gingrich isn’t going to get the RudyG voters.

They have all gone to Paul in addition to Paul’s support from before. So have many of the McCain supporters.

Newt’s stuck. He’s lost the core of his support and can only pick up more moving to the left, which brings him against Romney, and that’s not going to help him.

If that 20 percent of Huck + Thompson goes to Santorum, we can blow out Romney in SC and make a statement. That 80 percent of Huck isn’t going to go the other way and support Newt.

You’re not considering one factor. What if one of those conservatives is waiting for Romney to win SC and clear the field and then jump in say late Jan/early Feb as the last-ditch candidate to stop Romney where they can face him 1 on 1 and not worry about 4 or 5 other conservatives splitting the vote. Then endorsing wouldn’t really make sense.

If you are hinting to someone like Palin going one on one with Willard?

Nevermind a "Gorbasm" from the archives of EIB, we would have to a Rushbasm, because I don't think El_Rushbo could stay neutral on that one!

You can never put your faith in Republican primary voters, wilco; they are unreliable and very blissfully uninformed.

SC is open. Don’t know about FL but it’s the first “winner take all.” So far Romney only leads in delegates with 11 to Pauls 9 and Santorums 7. (Newt5 Perry3 Huntsman2)

It is pretty amusing that Dixville Notch and Hart’s Location pretty much nailed it with less than 30 votes.

All you have to do is to switch the 2 votes for Perry to the Santorum column and they absolutely nailed the final results.

Santorum’s getting the conservatives, and has won Iowa. Why do you want him to drop out?

He’s our best shot at winning. If Newt’s support continues to erode, then it’s not going to do us any good.

I believe Huntsman is in for a rude awakwening come the SC Primary...until then, Im going to keep my powder dry.....I do not believe Romney will do all that well in the Southern states either...at least if the voters are smart enough to not listen to the pundits on the TV

Santorum and Perry are the ONLY Conservatives...and Gingrich is the only “moderate” that is acceptable (in my estimation)

Mitt Romney will say anything to get elected and has been caught in a few lies. He has always backed abortion, is a gun grabber and raises fees and taxes. I read something on FR where he claimed to be a lifelong hunter, he’s hunted twice, and a lifetime NRA member, Romney joined in 2006.

Didn't Florida get slapped by the RNC for moving its primary up? Lost delegates, I believe.
