I have always thought that the EPA Totalitarians involved in this could be volunteered for ballast at the launch of the next robotic mission to Pluto...

The cats are lying down with the dogs!

Even Obama’s pet lefties are at least feigning outrage.

The EPA has done its part to run roughshod over the Constitution and the rights of citizens. It has also done its part to hobble free enterprise and our position as a world power. If anything it has acted as an inside force against the greatness of this nation under the cover of doing the environment good. Thug mobsters operate the same way using front operations.

It’s time to close the doors on the EPA folks. Its a Tea Party pitchforks and torches time.

My guess? Someone at the EPA wanted that property for themselves.

The real fault is the congress that allows this crap and therefore we the voters who elect them.

We've lost so much.

We're now just all tenants of the state that are expected to do what we're told and not challenge their authority.

The E.P.A. should be disbanded and ALL its employees should be hung.

The EPA isn't the only division of Der Führer Obama's Schutzstaffel (aka: SS) who do this.

The Army Corps of Engineers also sticks its nose into 'wetlands' property and any building near 'it'. And like with the EPA you have zero recourse except to comply. Hopefully at the beginning of your construction.

And that still costs the owner money for design changes. Not as much as these BS EPA 'fines', but it's still your money going out.

Rather than take how the media describes the oral argument session as gospel, you can read them yourself. The oral arguments are here : Supreme Court Oral Arguments. Sorry for linking to a PDF, but that's all that is at the court. I thought of converting it to HTML, but it's pretty long, and I don't really have the time for it right now.

I thought some of the cross was interesting, though any long-time court watcher will tell you that you can't necessarily discern how a Justice will vote based on questions made during orals. Several like to play devil's advocate. As usual, Thomas didn't ask any questions, as is generally his way. I've read that he considers orals to be more theater than substance.
