If Republicans would rather have an extreme liberal over a soft Republican, then they IMO give up their right to bitch and moan. Is Romney my top pick? No. I personally like the sound of a Santorum/Gingrich ticket. This does not mean I will lose motivation to get Obama out of office if Romney gets the nod. I’m not completely cynical but obviously he was liberal in Mass. because that’s what got him elected. I know Newt displayed some of the same elasticity during the past few years.

I’d say there are only two true blue candidates on that stage - Santorum and Paul. Perry seems very sincere but he hails from Texas. Santorum lost reelection rather than go moderate.

Our problem as a nation is out of control spending, not Obama. Electing Romney isn’t going to solve the problem. This nation is doomed if we don’t elect a president who’s willing to make SERIOUS cuts in programs and services.

He is a candidate and his position as a candidate is pro life. Have heard him say it and defend it numerous times. It is very hard to picture him doing anything pro choice as president.

Vote in conservative Congressmen and Senators that will send correct legislation to the president to sign. The big O will veto said bills; a Republican, conservative or moderate, will sign. Avoid a battle over Supreme Court appointees by voting AGAINST the ‘Bamster.

If Romney is made king (just like the NRC did last Tuesday knowing full well sanatorium won) I think a conservative will run 3rd party. It is terrible having Obama as president. It would make me sick voting for someone I know will change with with polls again, who has no personal convictions, only says and does what he thinks people want to hear. I also am moving farther and father away from the NRC. They are altering things to give the presidency to there golden boy. I pray someone starts “The Conservative Party” (C). If the NRC can do what they did to Santorum, why do we even vote, they may as well have a coronation for him and leave us out of the loop. We can see how fox, Laura Ingram and others really work for the NRC the same way CNN abc NBC CBS.....work for the dnc. If we conservatives don't stand up to the people taking away our vote, either through fraud or preying on the uninformed who believe there lies, we will be no different than the democrats. It may be time for revolution.
