Mere hours following the antagonistic ABC interrogations, David Gregory gets his turn, hoping for verbal pyrotechnics Sunday morning.

Bush has a mixed legacy. He and the rest of the neo-cons are really big government types. You are right that he let us down, and paved the path to Obama and where we are now. I love Dick Cheney, but he should have stepped down in the second term & let someone take his place that could have run for president.
I think Cheney says he tried to do that, but Bush wouldn't hear of it - it has had a devastating impact.
Thanks very much, sweet you.
Why can't the stupid party get down the simple talking point that the DEMOCRAT CONGRESS elected in 2006 purposefully, in Cloward-Piven fashion, trashed the economy and hung it around the neck of W in order to win the 2008 election? I do blame Bush, however, for not constantly pointing it out at the time.
I would also add that given the high level of “mandatory” spending that we have in Washington that we do need a full time congress in Washington, to defund those high levels of mandatory spending.
Go to a bi-annual budget and then a couple months every two years is plenty of time to develope and approve a working budget. You don’t need day to day meddling by congress critters if they have compentent heads install in the various departments/agencies.
Are you saying that Mittens is “the shining knight” to the ladies while Santorum is just “the boy next door”? It is sad that people would vote on such a basis, but they do.
The second debate in a row where Paul get way less time then the others to present his ideas.
I like that idea. Two-year Congress comes in and passes ONE two-year budget for their term and moves on to other issues.
Just came to this thread. What was the lie? I want Mitt destroyed.
I agree that Newt was great again and wins most every debate, but will the media EVER give him credit? No, never. He needs our help.

It will take a full time conservative congress to defund all of the wasteful and unconstitutional "mandatory" spending that we have now. It will take a full time conservative congress to deregulate all of the unconstitutional "mandatory" regulations that we have now.
Our full time congress now doesn't even read, page-by-page, most of the legislation that it votes on. Our congress people need to take the time to do that.
When those items are accomplished, only then would a good conservative and constitutional congress best take action to cut its working hours and to cut its pay.
I realize he gets a lot of flak around here, but Huntsman really isn’t that bad. He was a solid conservative as governor of Utah.
Do you know where I can get the replay of this debate? I missed most of it. Thanks.
Newt never balanced the budget. Stop saying he did. It detracts from the things he really did do.
Do you get MSNBC?
That cable channel is going to replay the entire debate at 2:00PM Central.
I thought that the debate was interesting. I liked the way that they kept it moving, but I did seem that the Romney questions and answers were prepared in advance, especially the first question of the debate, when Romney didn’t even take time to digest the question before launching into what sounded like a prepared speech. I got that feeling almost every time that Romney was asked a question, except that stupid question about contraception from Georgie.
Just wait till Brian Williams finishes covering mittens and his unusual Mexican family. LSM is finally getting around to playing whack a mole with mittens, or maybe they will just try to help innoculate him a little.
Folks can either have a political system of, by and for the media and the money, or they can have one that is of, by and for the people. It’s one or the other.
