Yet another teen has used deadly force to protect his home from intruders.
Police in North Carolina revealed a 14-year-old boy shot dead an intruder attempting to break into his home while he and his sister were alone.
The teen opened fire with a shotgun while his 17-year-old sister hid in a closet as a gang of men attempted to smash their way into their home.
The incident took place two days before 18-year-old Sarah McKinley shot and killed an intruder breaking into her home in Oklahoma
While on the phone with 911, the young mother shot and killed one of the intruders with a 12-gauge shotgun after he forced his way inside her home.

Seeing a lot more of this during work hours; however, the kids are at home after school so the house isn't empty. Happened to the grandson of a friend - the kid hid in a closet off the bathroom and prayed for his life. If more bad guys get killed by kids defending themselves while "home alone", the bad guys will be thinking twice about home invasions ..... thus the purpose of having a gun and knowing how to use it. Teach your children well.
There's an NFL quarterback named Seneca Wallace born in 1980, so apparently the name has some circulation in that culture. I can't seem to find another Jatwaun, however.
My 14 yr old was just asking me last night what she should do if a similar situation presented itself.
My answer had to do with “center mass”.

From the picture of the home, looks like two points of entry. Two shotguns are better than one. Older sister could have stood guard at the other door, just in case, while younger brother took out the trash that was breaking in.
And I think "that culture" is first and foremost...American Indian.

Seneca Wallace is hardly a QB, he’s a skinny running back that can throw a little. We had him in Seattle for a few years and he underwhelmed decisively.
Well, they would be if their daddies would teach them. Every young lady should be taught the proper procedures to follow during a home invasion. No child left behind! :)

You need to read exactly what the dispatcher said! She didn’t say to be careful, she told him he was not to fire his weapon while she had him on the phone!
“Do not, while I’m on the phone, do not fire that firearm, OK?’ the dispatcher says”
So she did not issue a warning as you suggest, but rather she demanded that she refrain from firing his weapon. She should be fired herself!
The boy should have hung up right when the liberal on the phone told him not to shoot again. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away! Everybody remember this. You have to get every one of them that is in the house as quick as you can after you get the first one. If you let them get away, they will vote for Obama again.

I suspect the main motive behind that instruction was to make sure he didn't accidentally shoot a responding deputy while hopped up and shaking on adrenaline. Poorly worded, though, to be sure.

Had a punk break in on me. I was getting out of the shower and saw him with his crowbar trying to pry the lock.
Rushed him robe and all, he panicked. I picked up his crowbar, and he fled.
Then I called 911 after the place was secured. Still have the crowbar. Cop came out to investigate. He was pissed that he missed the burglar.
I listened to the 911 call, and give the 14 y/o credit for keeping his head and doing the right thing. Like I told my friend: It's not pretty out there, and getting worse. We need more "examples" like this to make these thugs think twice about messing with country folks...
