Our governor, Rick Snyder, just stated as much on a TV interview last night. He’s trying to construct a bridge between Detroit and Canada, but there’s a private entity who wants to build it with his own money. The Republican legislature didn’t pass it last year, so he said he’s going to go it alone. Don’t know if that means he’ll try to put it in a general election, or (more likely) pull an 0bama trick and sign some executive order.

Earnest said that the White House's goal was to contrast the image of a "gridlocked, dysfunctional Congress" with "a president who's leaving no stone unturned to try to find solutions to the difficult financial challenges and economic challenges facing this country." Hey Obama, no matter how dysfunction the congress may be there is still a Constitution that you swore to uphold. It can wait.

So his eminence plans to run the country through 2012 as the dictator he aspires to become should there be enough uninformed voters to reelect him.

but will otherwise limit his dealings with an unpopular CongressJust how popular do you think the Commie in chief is? Sure the Congress gets the worst approval in a century, but it was THE DEM Congress that did that. With the help of a few RINOs.
But remember this comes from the LA Times.

Obama’s goal for 2012 -— do nothing and vote present.
THIS is how we should frame this argument!

The Executive Orders will just be ignored. They will be unenforceable. The resulting law suits by the AG will be dropped before they can be litigated

While Obama might try to create the label of “Do-Nothing Congress”, our nominee can create the label of “Do-Nothing President”

I suggest we all start putting some pressure on the Senate and our Congress people to stop this madness. We the people voted to stop Obama’s agenda by getting as many Republicans into Congress that we could. Congress has been very successful in stopping Obama’s agenda and I am certain that it is very frustrating to him but we cannot afford to have him act as Dictator. We should also call the White House and have our voices heard. We did this when he was first elected and now we MUST continue before he drags this country into the abyss! We must get organized and do it now!

So in other words, Obama has to decided to become the dictator he always has been.
A Congress with a measure of spine would slap this idiot down at every turn.

Doesn’t an effective leader know how to unlock his team? But I seriously believe his goal all along has been to make a mess and then somehow emerge as the one to rise above it.

Obama does not consider the rest of his policy agenda to be a "must-do" for lawmakers So, is he saying he doesn't need a 2nd term? This makes it sound like he did all he needs to in his Presidency.

Obama would be well-served by continuing to distance himself from a Congress.

Sure the Congress gets the worst approval in a century, but it was THE DEM Congress that did that. With the help of a few RINOs.It's the LA Times and their ilk who have done everything in their power to foster the belief that congress has been controlled by the pubbies since Obama was emaculated. They hide the fact that both the house and senate was run by the hard left for 2 years, and how since the senate has been run by Dingy Harry, not a single budget has been passed.
I read an article stating that most people believe that it's the "republican congress" that's the cause of all the problems, and you can bet that the media and Obama will do all they can to foster this lie through the election.
