My mom, Judith Anne, passed away very peacefully yesterday early afternoon- In those final moments, her breathing calmed, and her eyes opened for the first time in over a week- We all know, in our hearts and soul, who she saw and where she has gone. Each of you here have provided a wealth of encouragement, prayer, and solace in helping us get through this! I cannot thank you enough!
A memorial fund has been established for family, friends, coworkers, and her online community of family for any who wish to make donations- the address is as follows:

Admins- as I asked in the original post, if this is the wrong place for this, please feel free to move it to the correct location-
In the coming months, I would ask ANY of you that would be kind enough, please consider/think of words, prayers, or bible passages she shared with you, or a story you’d like to share with the family- I am going to have a “Grandmothers book” made for the grandkids- The Divine Mercy prayer will be on the first page, given her love of the beautiful Chaplet- any additional thoughts or info is greatly appreciated!!!
Again, THANK YOU for the prayers! The posts here, and your prayers, are what I consistently went to as a source of encouragement and strength to see this journey through!
Chantille, you and your family are in our prayers.
Judith Anne has moved on to her eternal reward.
Moderator, can you update the thread please?

My mom, Judith Anne, passed away very peacefully yesterday early afternoon
I, long ago, bowed out of the hateful religious threads but I often read them and I loved her responses, they came from the heart. One day she proclaimed her intentions to leave Free Republic and never come back because of the hatefulness of some of the posters. I Freepmailed her and asked her not to give up and I was so glad that she didn’t.
Your mother was amazing. I liked and respected her tremendously. We went shoulder to shoulder on a number of threads battling the antiCatholics.
I used to tease her with quotes from St. Paul (she wasn’t hip on his misogynist attitude). A warrior (ette), a good Catholic and it has been my privilege to work with her on FR, and our loss now that she has gone to her reward.
May God bless us all, especially for those that she has left behind in her journey into the presence of Almighty God.
And thank you again for all that you have done to ensure that her FRiends know what was happening. May the peace of Christ be on you and yours.

Oh, my prayers are with you. It is so hard to lose a loved one. God bless you as you prepare the Grandmother’s Book.

Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.
Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.
In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.
Amen.
Prayers offered for you and your family, Chantillie. You have all been an inspiration to so many of us here on FreeRepublic.

Ah, I love Judith Anne. Tenacious in life, tenacious in death.
I will so miss her here and thank God for her love and encouragement.
I was looking over her posts as well. The last one she sent me was how at the moment of consecration at Mass, she whispers to herself, “My Lord and my God” three times.
Well, Judith Anne, I imagine you must have sang it out loudly and joyfully when you stood before him.
My deepest condolences to you and your family for her loss. It is ours as well and deeply felt.
Rest in peace, JA, you are home now.
