Judith Anne was admitted to the hospital the day after Christmas having suffered a serious stroke....
Revelation 21:
4 and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.
Again, my deepest sympathies are with you and your family at this time. I've remembered Judith Anne in my prayers.

Chantillie, you have my heartfelt condolences. You have my prayers as well.
I’ve very sorry. My grandma died almost 2 year ago now. My mom and aunt will never be over it.
My deepest sympathies to your mom and aunt- I don’t think it necessarily is something a person gets over... I think it’s more something we learn to live with. I know how deeply it affected our family when my dad passed away- but there was acceptance, and later, an inner healing. I suspect time will do the same here, right now there’s simply a numb feeling...shock, I suppose.
Above all else is the knowledge that it truly is not goodbye- to your grandmother, nor my mom- it is simply, “Will see you later!” Because we will-

The one good thing to come out it is that it gets the whole family together. It’s sad it takes a funeral to do that sometimes. Treasure your family.

You made me smile~ I remember she and I talking about the “mansions” in heaven- I told her I’d be tickled just to get a mud hut~
