The ongoing imbroglio with Denver Bronco quarterback Tim Tebow has made plain three really unflattering facts about the secular-progressive ("sec-prog") movement in this country. Tebow's straightforward and unapologetic Christianity has been received by NFL mensae magnae (contradiction in terms?) as a type of threat. These folks have responded by building upon the previously gathered strength of the anti-Christian movement in this nation. Such a movement, by the way, is far more prevalent than it formerly appeared.
First truth: the sec-progs have meatier game in sight than we used to think. That is, when sec-progs start out declaring that they aim merely to set a plain whereupon all religions can fairly "coexist," they really contemplate an end-game where religions fade permanently out of view. Have a look at the emergent history of the jurisprudence: "No federal religion" became "no state religions"; this became "no government entanglement with religion"; this became "no governmental support for religion"; this became "no governmental mention of religion"; this led to the phase that the Tebow debacle currently evinces: "no popular mention of religion in any public sphere, including private affairs which get viewed on TV." One can easily imagine the last few steps in this phenomenology of disappearance.
Coming back to Tebow, let's remember that his comparatively subtle iconographic decorum has managed to stir up the hornets' nest to a startling degree: recent betrayals by active (Lions players Stephen Tulloch and Tony Scheffler) and especially retired (Merrill Hodge and Jake Plummer) players lack all response-to-stimulus proportionality and sound more like personal defensive responses to some governmental actor threatening the players' own religious liberty. The fact Tebow’s open expressions of faith are considered “controversial” shows how far down the path of darkness this country has traveled. Similar to the gasps heard when Carrie Prejean dared to state she felt marriage should be between one man and one woman.
Some people simply need to get a life!
The Bible says, “Thou shalt not steal,” but the NFL teams regularly steal from the taxpayers. So, how pious can anyone associated with the NFL really be?
America is devolving into a neo-pagan culture. The universities, media and popular culture are clearly devoid of traditional religous values. Drug use, fornication, crass materialism, celebrity worship and abortion are now the norm. Clearly epicureans outnumber the stoics. America is not unlike other advanced cultures nearing their nadir. To give an understanding of why Tebow is so “offensive” imagine this scenario. A Roman gladiator stands before the emperor and makes the sign of the cross. What direction would the thumb point?

They demonize any family that has more then 1.75 children
They demonize anyone who love the USA and what it stans for in the world
They demonize anyone who believes in the sanctity of human life.
If Tim Tebow were a muslim player who got down and prayed to Allah during games, the liberals would gleefully rush to protect his freedom of religion.
Most of the NFL players have a college education and cannot spell C.A.T.. They are paid for their physical talent not for their intelligence. They went through High School, College, and into the NFL because they are big, athletic, and play football well.
Tebow has a brain.
And a soul.
And evidence of that can be seen even on FR. FR member donmeaker has proudly proclaimed his paganism and has flatly stated on FR that he believes that Christianity is a pagan religion.

Who defined those two workers as "Christian"? Many people call themselves Christian when they are anything but.
I can't remember the last time I heard the FCA mentioned anywhere. But the organization does still exist and has a website.
We all have soul’s. Tim Tebow is a thorn in their side by worshiping the Creator. He, also has placed the care of his soul in Jesus’ hands. Those people (and I use the term hesitantly) feel they are the Master of their Soul’s. They will learn but it may be too late for them.
