Another reality consistent with this is that the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) was once mentioned often in the coverage of college football, even positive mentions of which players were members during game broadcasts.
I can't remember the last time I heard the FCA mentioned anywhere. But the organization does still exist and has a website.
