The Thursday Night Protest Group will likely be in mourning. This is the group that hangs out at the corner of Yankee Doodle and Pilot Knob in Eagan, MN, in front of the now closed Lockheed Martin building with their anti American signs.

I sometimes sing to the group as I drive by. As in “Kill a Commie for Mommie”. Eagan PD probably has me tagged as a hater and terrorist for that. I am so happy to be out of Minnestoopid.

Cobra Ball is one of the many flavors of the RC-135. It has a powerful missile tracking radar, such that the cockpit has to be heavily shielded. It was used to track Soviet warheads landing in the Pacific during missile tests.

By the way, some S. Korean officials from Foreign Ministry were out on lunch at noon, thinking that NK announcement is probably about quid pro quo between NK and U.S.. When the NK female announcer showed up, dressed in black, they said, “Oh, crap,” and hurried back to their office.:-)

Cobra Ball was used to spy on missile launch tests and satellites after launch.
Officially a Boeing RC-135, it has ‘cheek pouches’ and differing sensor gear.

They should build a porcelain monument over his grave, with white enamel, a drain at the bottom and a stainless steel flusher. That way, everyone can p@#$ on his grave.

Is the 10 day mourning period a cultural thing, or will the North Korean gov’t be using the time to plot something nefarious?

Yes, it is cultural. In old days, a funeral usually lasted for 10 days. Sometimes even longer. Depends on one’s stature, of course.
