Phoenix - Sheriff Joe Arpaio said a scathing U.S. Justice Department report about his office's law enforcement tactics against Latinos marks "a sad day for America as a whole." Billed as America's toughest sheriff, Arpaio struck a defiant tone at a Thursday afternoon news conference in response to the report, which he called a politically motivated attack by the Obama administration that will make Arizona unsafe. (Snip) Homeland Security also will restrict the sheriff's office use of the Secure Communities program, which uses fingerprints collected in local jails to identify illegal immigrants.

Good for Joe.
They are only attacking him because he endorsed Perry.
La Raza is partying hard tonight. They’ve been out to get Arpaio for a long time. The Kenyan finally came through for them. This should get Barry a lot of hispanic votes. The drug cartels are probably celebrating by beheading a few school teachers, cops and businessmen.
I hope that Joe can stand his ground. They are going to ratchet-up the pressure and try to wear him down, of course.
One more reason Eric Holder needs to go.
We now have a federal government which defines enforcing the law as “unconstitutional.”
They have been attacking him way before that. He makes them look incompetent and negligent in the enforcement of their constitutional responsibilities.
I see Sheriff Joe’s posse expanding to include most of the armed freedom loving people of this nation.
they've had a million dollar bounty on Joes head for years.
A million dollar donation to Obamas campaign can get the same results.
That’s pocket money for a cartel. The only question to me is why’d it take so long?
This is in response to the Perry endorsement.
I have no doubt.
They are withholding a tool the sheriff could use to do his job? Do they think that the tool belongs to them personally? Or is it the property of the United States of America to be used for all law enforcement agencies?
If they can prove he has done something illegal, why don't they bring him up on charges?
This latest attack on Sheriff Joe further reveals our “enemy within”. My America, our America requires those in power to live up to their oath. Holder and the “Messiah” are not and should be removed from office. Send Sheriff Joe to do the job.
Joe to DOJ:
Dear Eric,
Ive been enforcing the law since you were in grammer school.
ALL of my policies and practices are executed to the letter of the law, as evidenced by prevailing in countless attacks by the ACLU and other friends of yours.
I will continue in the future, as I have in the past.
If you continue with your intimidation tactics and presume to impose wastefull administrative overhead, Ill drag your butt to the U.S. Supreme Court!
Sincerely,
Joe
Lets not forget that sheriff Joe is looking in to Obama’s eligibility as well.
If he found pay dirt, they could be trying to take him down for that.
I forgot about that. Someone needs to remind Joe to bring that up whenever there’s a microphone.
Perry and Newt are about equally unpredictable in how they’d treat the illegale situation, both having tacked in both directions during their careers. I can’t see a minor ranking contender, whose rank was virtually unchanged by the Sheriff Joe endorsement, being a major issue to Obama.
Homeland Security also will restrict the sheriff's office use of the Secure Communities program, which uses
fingerprints collected in local jails to identify illegal immigrants.
Sounds like Obama is guilty of ...
