The last debate before the January 3rd Iowa caucuses is being held tonight in Sioux City.

We get seven candidates at this debate: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman.

Fox's Bret Baier anchors the debate. Fox News panelists questioning the candidates: Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto.

Though not JimRob's fault, sadly, a forum with multiple members calling a Republican candidate a "bitch" and talking about superficial things like hair, makeup, and clothing will give the RNC elites (as well as the totalitarian left) a poor reflection of the character of FR. We deserve better.

I am worried about Newt because he didn’t respond to Michele criticisms
in a rationale way. He just said “not factual”, “inaccurate” at least twice.

My problem is that he can’t do that to Obama. He can’t do that when 100
ABC, NBC, CNN reporters are after him in the general election.

He cannot just dismiss questions.

Maybe he has to learn how to be the front runner.

Not sure that a fact check will matter to anyone, but here is the IAEA Report that Ron Paul & Bachmann was sparring over. The report says the IAEA is "increasingly concerned" about a possible secret program, but not sure there is one.

Pundits have it wrong on Bachmanm .... they say she was strong, but from the comments I'm seeing, she was very unlikeable. I also think that is Santorum's problem - not likeable. Perry has a certain charm that does him well. Romney - shoe salesman. Newt - smart & tough, can take a punch (Obama should be scared).

Agreed. Texans are sometimes castigated for saying we are the best or biggest at something. We would like to hear how every one of the other States accels at some certain something they do best. Perry has stumbled onto something that makes America what it is. JMHO.

I don't agree out all. State government helping busineses and picking winners isn't a conservative idea and it isn't a good idea.

Agreed. Bachmann is the most Conservative. Unfortunately for her and Ron Paul, I will not vote for anyone who served as a member of the 111th Congress.
